Yeah thats the second time since i took over that Messi has got a double hattrick first time ive ever unlocked that steam achievement.
I think it was Bayern who wanted him, i got asked a question by the Media but have never had an actual offer from any team, not that i would ever sell him.

Spanish Cup

We had a very tough draw as we first off beat Real Madrid 4-3 on aggregate in the 5th rnd before putting 5 past At Madrid over two legs in the Quarter Finals and then managed to lose to Granada 2-3 in the 1st leg before beating them 3-0 in the 2nd leg to set up a Final against Villareal. It doesnt bode well that they are the only team to beat us in the League so far this season.

We did well domestically with 8 more straight wins in the league but had a shock loss to Borussia Dortmund in the 1st leg of the Champions League Knockout stages the same team we lost to in the Finals last year.

Villareal do the double over us as they break our 16 game league unbeaten run with our last loss coming against them too, we face them in the Spanish Cup Final which has become all the more important.

We then lost to Real Madrid a couple of games later before finishing the month with 6 wins in a row were we scored 4 goals. Which helped us towards winning the league!

A brilliant season domestically maybe because we went out of Europe so early on getting a record points total of 103 points,scoring 124 goals and having an amazing goal difference of +100!

Youth Intake Star Rivas was worried about his contract being up but thats all sorted now but i just noticed in the article that hes touted as the next Josep Guardiola!!!

So this end to the season could be the most important yet with the likes of Dani Alves retiring and Claudio Bravo, Mascherano and Tello all with one year left on their deals refusing new contracts they will have to be sold on.
Some other squad players may also leave whilst Jordi Alba wants a new challenge and we do have Grimaldo so theirs a busy transfer window ahead.

Another brilliant season. Cracking youth intake too!! In regards to the youth, The 4.5 star players you have coming through, Are they ranked slightly lower due to the higher standards of Barca's facilties?

Thanks mate, im not too sure to be honest, i think it has something to do with the likes of Messi and Neymar being so good that they are rated 5 out of 5 but even a 2 star rated player at Barcelona could walk into a lot of amazing clubs, like Ter Stegen, Busquets and Montoya and Bartra are all amazing for me but less than 2 and a half star rated by my as manager.

thanks mate, hoping to keep it going for quite a while, want to have a save i really get into and this one should get more interesting in a player perspective as players start to retire and i rely on the youth intake even more. \im going on holiday on friday for a week and we will have wifi were we are staying so will be playing a fair bit in the evenings when we are waiting around.

So there was so huge transfers out as we let Jordi Alba go for an initial £34Million rising to £48Million to PSG, i felt Grimaldo can replace him and he wanted a new challenge anyway.
Tello left to join AC Milan for a decent £10Million whilst Rakitic moved to Rayo for a deal that could rise to £11Million.
Munir and Denis Suarez also moved on for good fees whilst Claudio Bravo and Mascherano left for small fees so it was a big shake up in the side with my youth players more likely to get a chance in the side now.

I like your approach, but £5M for Munir and £3.5M for Denis Suarez seems very cheap. Munir turns into a top 5 striker in almost all my saves :p

To be honest i would have kept Munir and sent him out on loan but he wouldnt sign a new deal and didnt have long left on his current deal, just had a look at him at Olympiakos and hes classed as a not worthwhile signing, i probably didnt play him enough or loan him out enough as it says hes cosidered the 10th best AMR, 8th best AML and 6th best ST so was never likely to make the break into the first team. Whilst Denis Suarez not only had my first team players to contend with in my 3 man midfield like, Song, Busquets and Iniesta but also Samper, Roberto and Halilovic are all rated higher.
