well this sport is a disgrace if these are 2 of the best teams in the world. Back down to the irish league where players try and play football and dont dive around the place. 3 match bans for any dive would stop it. instead of punishing cursing into the match camera they should review dives and give 3 match bans. it would stop it within 2 weeks and i might enjoy watching the "better" teams playing again

I think united could get overrun in midfield but rooney back in his deeper role will help out and barcas full backs wont be getting forward as park and valencia are excellent at tracking back. Also hernandez pace and movement will cause barca all sorts of problems so I think united have a chance thats for sure

How on earth are Madrid better than us. Just coz they bought players paying hundreds of millions doesn't mean Madrid are better. We are winning trophies non stop for past 5 years and 3 finals in 4 years. We are #1 in UEFA ranking for a reason.

I dont see it at Irish league matches at all as they arent payed millions and dont think they are above contact. but my 3 match ban would stop it at all levels regardless

I can imagine a tough physical side in the premier league, like a Stoke playing Barcalona. Stoke world probably get atleast 3 players sent off.

If it is a United vs Barca final, I wouldnt surprised if Vidic gets sent off for being too physical for the Barca players.

Barcelona deserved the win - but don't deserve anything for the way they acted/behaved on the pitch. Messi was the only one not stirring or approaching the ref for everything.

Ronaldo was the only player on the pitch not to roll around holding his limbs like they'd just been blown off by the taliban.

A few things we learned from this match:

1) Busquets has spread his play-acting throughout the Barca camp.

2) Referee's are too scared to book Messi (deliberate handball = booking, no?)

3) If enough Barcelona players make a bee-line for the ref they will get the decision.

Barcelona = Best Team in the world? Perhaps some of them should get a role in eastenders. As for the officials, its one thing to ignore Mourinho's pressure, an entirely diffrent thing to succumb to that of Barcelona's pressure. Poor Refereeing all round.

Seriously, Real Madrid don't deserve anything when they play like that.

Honestly, I'd rather be a ***** and bunker up than attack the referee who was supposed to be neutral after every decision, and put so much pressure on him that he has to send off a player who hasn't even deserved the red card... And I'd rather bunker up and defend every chance and hope not to conceed a goal than dive like that, like Dani Alves as if his leg was ****** cut off and not just "hit"


Seems the final will be Barcelona - Manchester United...

I've never supported United, I did respect them though, but I didn't even like them for some time.

But in the final, if they are playing against Barcelona, this same divers barca, I will be chearing for United with all my heart.

Because diving, whining, moaning, and doing every thing you can so that the opposition's player gets wrongfully sent off doesn't deserve even getting near the Champions League final match.
