Lol.
Refs against you? Did you see Marcelos stamp that was a definate red and a penaty. Yes the red card for pepe was debatable but still you had just as many decisions.

Marcelo tries to jump Pedro and lands on him, wasn't a blatant stamp, plus Pedro rolls around holding the OTHER leg... care to explain?

Our midfield is underrated. I'm not bothered much about it. We lack one midfielder, but still the way people talk makes anyone believe they are talking about relegation battling team. We have matched/bettered Chelsea's 3 men midfield by playing 4-4-2 with only 2 in the center..

Im not saying your midfield is bad because that is false. And you deserve credit for the Chelsea win but i would say both Essien and Lampard was either out of form/unfit. Im not taking that away from Utd because over the 2 legs you were werthy winners but i think even you could agree my point.

If people don't stop arguing, i'm gonna close this thread.

power abuse ftw.

Oh and after watching 10 comical actors diving, rolling on ground, hounding ref, i just can't wait to watch the real football this weekend. Premier league pwns them all..

Their midfield isn't THAT much better. Ours gets the job done, not always pretty but hey ho. Rooney and Giggs have been pulling strings anyway, and when Carrick's in form he's keeping it all ticking over.

Never a red card, what are you on? Both of their feet were as high as eachother's. Yellow and last warning at most. Not a red card.

Messi's goal was brilliant, but Pepe would have been standing in that space and would have crunched him and taken the yellow card to stop him scoring, something Ramos couldn't do as he was already on a yellow.

Ronaldo didn't roll at all. Don't lie now. He only got fouled 3 times and only once did he even end up on the floor.

He went over the top of the ball and drove through the leg. if Nigel De Jong did it everyone would be saying he should be banned for life (well maybe a bit over the top but De Jong would be harshly ridiculed).

if for instance the first one was only a yellow then surely by your argument he wouldnt have taken the yellow for crunching Messi.

And for Ronaldo when he went on the ground he took 3 rolls which is 3 more than were needed. he also did the thing of holding his face and pulling up when fouled which is another form of simulation

But you dont have a natural tracking midfielder thats my point. It is the only way to keep Messi quiet and i dont see one in Utd's side.

Yes, kinda felt you are underrating our midfield. Yeah not our strongest area, but we are not afraid of any team as we are defensively solid and can hit them on counter..

wow. never thought I'd see play-acting, petty fouls and hounding of the officials in this game. I'm staggered beyond belief.
But I did suspect Barca would win though. And I did have a sneaking suspicion it would be this ugly I admit

Fletcher or Park can do it. He was pretty quiet in 2008 hmmmmm.

Don't be such a hypocrite. Man U fans talking like dubious decisions never went their way. Ref's help, gee.

Oh someone had to bring ManUtd here. What i posted was what happened. Dont be such a blind person and act as if nothing has happened..

I repeat, stop arguing or thread will be closed.

I repeat, power abuse ftw

Oh no way would i underrate your midfield mate because i would be lying if i did. I do think Utd have some things they have going for them but for me i just cant see them winning.

Lets be honest they can do it but not to the same effect Pepe did can they. Lets be fair here, 2008 was 3 years ago mate Messi has got a little bit better since then.

Or like dubious decisions never want against us? Swings and roundabouts.
