Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to give a thread a go now that I have finished Collage and have a lot of free time now. Basically this is going to be something similar to Chairman mode only you are the owner and your 2 main concerns are success and finance! Your goal will be to run a club from any position and make them financially stable and successful on the pitch, some teams will be harder to do this with than others! Here are the rules!
  1. Everything must go through me! If you want to sack a manager, buy a player, pay some debts, you must let me know so I can confirm this is possible and when I agree you must release a press statement on the thread explaining the matter and reasons for it!
  2. I will do updates every month of the game just explaining results, sackings, signings etc. of any clubs that have been picked
  3. The Premiership, Championship and League 1 are the chosen leagues, League 2 will only come into affect if someone gets relegated and cannot act upon Rule 6, if someone gets relegated to the Conference and cant buy out then their game is over
  4. You cannot hire your own manager, that hiring is done by the chairman although you can sack a manager if you are unhappy and the chairman hasn't taken steps to do so
  5. All signings are done from the manager through the Transfer Budget and Wage Budget you have set him (You get one signing a season to use your money like Abromavich but this doesn't mean he will be used!)
  6. Sacking a manager will result in the rest of his contract being paid at once so watch your finances before you make a rash decision! You do get one free sack at the beginning of the game (Chairman sackings do not affect your finances)
  7. You must also watch your finances in terms of debt! Every club must be able to pay 10% of their debt each season without option, failure to do so will see your club be fined and possibly be deducted points (Debt can be paid at any point of the season but end of season pay will still need to be made)
  8. An owner can sell their club and then go on to buy another club as long as the club they aim to buy has a value less than the balance they currently have!
  9. Any team that uses more than ?200m will be fined (Financial Fair Play)
  10. Upgrades to stadium can be made through me but at a price so double check finances!

Btw does rule no.9 (FFP) count if you pay your debts
 
that 200m in rule no. 9 is for the period of a season right?
 
No, paying debts and the ?200m limit are different but both do come from your balance

Lewie: One day, I want to make Liverpool as good as they were when they were 1st Division in 1990. Short term, we would like to shorten the debts by ​12.4m for 12 months or 6.2 for 24 mths.​ Also, I am interested in a CB, a backup CDM and a decent backup ST. I aim for Brendan to give a chance to the U21s. If they do not get 5 games (only the more known ones. Rossiter, Ibe, Kelly, Exc.), He will be released from his contract.
 
Ok I have decided to cut this off at 12 people seeing as its my first try at something like this! That means 5 more people as I am taking a team. All I need is a PM from those who haven't already done so just detailing the following
