A quick update on the rest of the pre-season games. I'm going to do a review of the squad pecking order because squad changed a lot since the beginning.

Squad Pecking Order
​

Due to squad changes I've decided to a quick review of the squad pecking showing who in favour who isn't and the future prospects. Since last season I have decided to promote to two youth player into rotation system Bradley Whitehead and Alex Mitchell. I have decided to include 4 youth players I can see coming as well

Goalkeeper:
1. 1. Mark Gilliespie
2. 31. James Phillips (on loan at Morecambe)
3. 40. David Craddock
4. 30. Myles Boney (Reserve)

The goalkeeper area is one of the weaker area with Mark Gilliespie is the best keeper by far. James Phillips is the second choice at the moment but my plan is send him on loan to build up to be the No 1. I think I'll keep Craddock as a backup plan. Myles Boney will stay for now but will be moved on soon.

Right Back:
1. 2. Cuco Martina
2. 12. Francisco Molinero

Cuco Martina is a key player of the squad and will get the most starts. Molinero will get the cup games and bottom league bouts

Left Back
1. 3. Joe Mattock
2. 22. Patrick Brough

Joe Mattock is the best left back by choice Brough is still learning and is available for loan.

Centre Back
1. 5. Jack McConell
2. 24. Tyler Blackett (on loan from Wolves)
3. 43. Kevin Hill (on loan at Luton Town)
4. 15. Courtney Meppen Walter
5. 42. Kyle Marshall (on loan at Oxford United)

At the minute McConell and Blackett are my best options. Meppen-Walter, Archibald-Henville and McArdle are my backup options for the season. Hill and Marshall do rank above some of players but I want them to get full first team experience but I promote them hopeful next season

Defensive Midfielder
1. 4. Rohan Ince

3. 45. Paul McAuley (on loan at Bradford City)

Rohan Ince is one of the top five players in this team and can play in multiple positions. I plan on using Alex Mitchell as more rotation player and if I can get McAuley if to decided standard I may keep it fresh and change formation.

Centre Midfielder
1. 16. Ryan Tunnicliffe
2. 23. Duane Holmes
3. 8. Liam Noble

Tunnicliffe is our clear option as a centre midfielder. However the other player depends on the formation. If I play 4-4-2 Ince plays if I play 4-5-1 with DM Ince moves back and either Holmes/Noble plays.

Right Winger
1. 7. Ryan Freeman (on loan from Bournemouth)
2. 18. Kevin Osei

Freeman is the best right winger far but don't under estimate Osei, he can hold his own.

Left Winger
1. 33. Joe Thomson
2. 11. Franck Moussa

Too hard too call this one Thomson and Moussa are about equal in this one.

Striker
1. 10. Dominic Samuel
2. 9. Ryan McCormack
3. 19. Bradley Whitehead

Samuel is the big man up front that gets goals, McCormack can also get the goals when asked. Whitehead is looking like the best young prospect at the minute. I'm determine to make Chelsea regret these mistakes haha

David Martin and Mark Gilliespie will fight it out for the No 1 spot. James Phillips is my third choice but sits in reserve. I may give him his debut in one of the cup game then sent him out on loan. Marcus Serrell is going either play in reserves or go out on loan

Nothing much as changed Martina is the first team starter and Molinero is the backup option

Great attacking force Samuel is the main guy, Whitehead is the young gun making huge leaps to 2nd Choice and Long and McCormack are the experienced veteran.
