You have to go to the lower leagues to find the best fans in England. It's easy to support a premier league team. Teams like Halifax, Chester and Darlington have the best fans in England. All shafted by the FA and made to start again at the bottom of the pile and they still keep the same attendances.

It's hard to disagree with this, on cold winter days with this rain ******* in your face, going to watch small lower league or even non-league teams who fall on hard times and don't play very good football, nor have good facilities is a completely different experience. Those teams have a loyal core who don't support them because they are likely to be successful, and when those fans wear their football shirts it is the badge on the front they are interested in, not the name on the back. Those fans who support the club regardless of the outcomes and just wish to watch an entertaining game.
