ali dia, although he's more of a joke ain't he (literally had his 15 mins of fame)

for me, thinkin back to when micheal owen burst onto the scene for liverpool, there was a rival wonderkid 97/98 season at everton called Danny Cadamarteri - some suggested he was the one with the most potential at the time, so much hype - for this reason it has to be him for the career he went on to have
 
Not the biggest of flops, but all were particularly bad.

Alfonso Alves, Albert Luque, Bhoulahrouz, Steve Marlet.
 
Shevy for me is second. Top of the list is veron as man u paid 28m and completly flopped then chelsea paid 30m for him!!!! then flopped again. Why did chelsea buy him i will never know.
 
Titus Bramble, not because of the hefty transfer fees which never incurred, but just out of shock that people still pay for him/play him
