Major setback this season as we were relegated on the final day of the campaign. I've put some screenshots in with the usual ones but basically we missed a penalty with 8 minutes to go in the final match of the season, if it had gone in we would have stayed up - devastated is too light a word.

It was a very hard season, the board who recently took over the club cut all spending even though they promised so much when they took over. I tried to work with the young foreign players I had gambled on being good enough - they weren't.

Big rebuild needed now as a lot of the players want to leave and the board want an instant return, I've got a bad feeling about this as im sure there just itching to get shut of me.

Can I join and be Stalybridge celtic. Played them on FM10 and was fun got them to league one in four seasons so want to try and do it again

bouncebackability was the key this season, I nearly threw it all away as I blew a 12 point lead to end up clinching the title on the final day of the season. Mehdi Lazaar a free tansfer from Burnley who I had loaned 3 years before was my talisman scoring 44 goals in just 46 apperances.

Hopeful of a stronger season in League 1 this time around, just need 3/4 new faces and hopefully keep my current squad together.

Tough campaign but after suffering relegation the last time I was in League One I was more than happy with a midtable finish. Big blow losing last seasons 44 goal striker Lazaar to a 9 month injury, never replaced him and I struggled to score goals all season no matter who started up front. Lots of my players are now old and coming to the end of there contracts so im having a clear out. The club has somehow found itself in the red even though I have spent nothing and am under my wage budget.
Any new players will have to be free transfers so It could be another slog in the coming campaign.

On the financial front the board have just sold my GK for £400k, gutted as Ive trained him up from 17 years of age.

i can see why noone tryed with solihall moors cuz there absolutly shocking all the team r **** and so inconsistant wasted my wage budget on a striker thats only scored 4 times so angry :mad:
 
I just started a save just like this, I am going to see if I can get Chelmsford into the Champions League within 10 Seasons.
