Nice that you seem to stick with the wingers GobBluthJD, there is enough tactics with IFs imo ;)

Wingers seem to create more exciting play, always getting wide and crossing in for the striker to score ;)

I started a save where I am unemployed, but I forgot to make my manager a moron - as I didn't want to restart the carreer I talked Bochum into hiring me - Bochum is a german 2nd division team - Since I have never managed Bochum before my heart would obviously not be in it - So I decided to let the director be the decision maker here - The only thing I'm in charge of is general training which is Team Cohesion and match training which is defensive positioning and then im also in charge of team talks which is none as i like to keep it neutral.

Now i cant upload any images for some reason but i wanted to show you an away match against Stuttgart 1.division german team
we won 2-0 in the cup 2nd round - would be a sensation.

We are also top of the league with lots of morons on the team - all this using this very tactic - Maybe I can give you some images tomorrow of this beautiful very efficient tactic. I highly recommend it to anyone who wanna take small to something big

Cheers

So I'll try again with the screenshots, but before I continue I have to say I changed job with 10 matches left of the season - I know how restless is that right? :)

I went from a successfull stay in the german 2nd division at Bochum 9th predicted to Relegation threatened Sampdoria - it could have been a season of two worlds promotion and relegation, but luckily that was not in the cards here's how it all went.

Bochum was clear about 10 points down to number 2 when I left - Pretty bad ending for them, but they managed to promote without me and it must be counted as a little sensation since Bochum were predicted 9th. I can also add their were no signings in this job - Director was in charge of most things - I was in charge of general training - team cohesion and matrch preparation defensive positioning - I almost forgot an important thing - we managed to go all the way to the german cup quarter finals - beating Stuttgart as the biggest problem - lost to Schalke/Gelshenkirshen 5-3.

So as I said I was very restless and wanted to stray away from anything small and got accepted at Sampdoria who were in 18th of Seria A - lucky for me I had 10 matches to turn it around. In Sampdoria I do the exact same thing let the director decide what to do well most of the time meaning - I don't buy players I say to the directror I would like to buy this dude by adding transfer targets - The same goes for selling I try and sell for value by telling my director of football that and double the value of the player.

When I get closer to a 2nd season start I can show you what transfers me and the director made together.

Here's the league table from last season taking over in march

Again I recommend this tactic - Its highly efficient and though not tested to be one of the best -
it acts like it is the best (hint right their) :)

Cheers

it works wonders dunt it

You litterally get value for lesser quality - and succeeding with lesser players is somewhat satisfying - so when you then start targeting solid quality I reckon it will become unstoppable.

I just lack 2 cm's 2 sc's and a FB right then i have done all the signings - and Sampodoria will be a team who doesn't rely on loans then. I hope to have a picture of that ready later on today :)

Have you played around with the striker at all? I see this and FM14serbias as two good 4231s but Fm14s the striker scores more which I suppose I prefer? ha

I haven't messed with the striker because it's been working so well. But I can do a quick test with FM14s striker set up and see what happens... (H)

Consistently striker always gets top scorer with his one, its complicated the fine details that are different between your guys formations

I've found AF and poacher roles tend to score most but they can lead to less goals overall, depends what you prefer really.

From Bochum to Sampdoria both teams I absolutely felt nothing about - Well maybe Sampdoria a little bit - Managed them some odd 15 years ago in a different manager game and if I'm not wrong their was also a young italian with the name Palombo back then :)

No but honestly feelings about Sampdoria isn't great, but by taking it all serious with the transfers this save have taken it up a notch for me and though I did sign quite alot of players I can't wait to get the season started.

So I tried to get other players too and many actually failed since the money isn't very big in Sampdoria - But if I stay which I'm almost bound to do with all that work I have done in this save to get the players I was targeting, but success in Seria A is crucial first. Plenty of players bought doesn't look like star quality and they aren't that's why this save can only be interesting to follow - especially how secondary players will do against the big boys in Italy.

I bought 5 danish players because they are in general affordable and then I ofcourse know their qualities. Pione Sisto probably the most exciting of the lot the right winger that I believe will in time become something special both in fm16 and in real life. Delaney perhaps not perfect for any of the two midfielder roles, he's probably more of a ballwinner than anything else, but I think he can go on to do a decent job - Nikolai Jorgensen I bought him as a backup AML for Pavon the argentinian (dream signing), but he can play striker too - Frederik Sorensen a solid central defender - Juelsgaard a decent left wingback - Moving on to some of the foreigners I bought namely Lucas Romero as the absolute number one of the signings I bought along with Pavon and Gabriel Paulista - then I bought Shani who I have never heard of before - I hope he will do well - till I can get someone like Embolo :) - I'm also very happy to have captured San Emeterio but im gonna loan him out due to having a very talented italian wbr Saidy Janko love that name :)
Then I got another WBR leicester's Gino Peruzzi I honestly didn't think I would get him - so suddenly I was signing 3 wbr's so I need to loan one out. Rest of the signings were fill and mostly backup players.

guys I'm so excited about this - I know I maybe shall keep my expectations low becourse of a squad overhaul, but hope is in the balance :)

About subject strikers - sometimes its not all about the strikers - how much they score etc - If the tactic work and shows consistancy then that can be charming too. I specifically make tactics for Big teams myself, but you become limited if you wanna do something like this play with lesser players and watch them succeed - Amazing that is possible at all - logically it shouldn't be - So if I go out and win this thing I vouch for no change. Plenty of balance in this tactic - be careful with changes.

Cheers
