Can I just remind you people that the cornerkick setup in this tactic is not done better by other tactics yet (tested) - so this is the one to use. However I'm testing another setup by someone who claims he score 1 goal per match from corners - I doubt it but lets try.

Cheers

1 goal per game from corners? That seems a little too good to be true... :P

Yea he should be a salesman lol - but to be honest I kind of like what I'm seeing in this one - but instead of using a midfielder lurking im using a striker cause I feel strikers know what they are doing in the finishing department, but hey its still just an experiement to see if this corner strategy is really worth it longer term.

Cheers

How does he have it set up differently? Curious now... ;)

Attacking Corner settings - Not Recommended

I reckon demands are great like a very good longshot - probably Pogba level - However it does score from time to time but not every match - I know for a fact that your tactics corner settings tested on both high level and lower level produces the best results possible out of all tactics in this forum - so you should be very cautious of changing that one unless you know of a way to score even more :)

Cheers mate

I thought this was gonna be a good tactic for my Preston side after beating Liverpool 3-1 in our last friendly.

We promptly go out and absolutely s*** the bed at Oldham 4-2 in the Capital One Cup. I'll give it some more time to get fluid, but I'm very disenchanted after this one. :(

You give it some more time to get fluid? - I can think of many words I wanna say to you

first of all you need to be fully fluid with any tactic you try before you can even judge a tactic - nothing that happens before you are 100% fluid means nothing after that you need to be good at managing which you probably am not since you are not aware that you need to be fluid as a minimum - I'm sick and tired of these people that try a tactic for 2-4 matches and then fail the tactic without even giving it a chance - rule of thumb is 2 seasons - 1st season you get it fluid and you get the team cohesion maxed out as much as possible then you have to focus on management making sure your players don't get upset etc keeping the condition high so the players are not totally jaded for the next match - all these things you need to learn before you judging a tactic after 2 matches.

These posts are the kind of posts that makes this forum fade away into a kindergarden abyss - get yourself together man and figure it out :(

It appears to me that I struck a nerve. All because of an absolutely brutal loss to a League Two side that looks more likely to be relegated than promoted, and yet I'm the guy who makes the forum "fade away into a kindergarten abyss".

Perhaps it's you who should get yourself together and figure it out.

If you look around in this thread you will notice that this tactic has proven itsself plenty of times - its obvious to everybody in here its you who can't follow the rule book of management 101 - you shoot a very successful tactic down without being fluid tells us everything.

Have some respect!!

rule of thumb is 2 seasons

Spot on!

First season i get good results but can go on a doggy run. Second season, you get to see the fruits of your labour. The players you have brought in play the system better and the results are more solid. This is the rule for every tactic. You just have to be patient.

Update

Just an Update

Managed to take second place in the German First Division in my first season there, and considering that it's still early enough in the game that Bayern is still untouchable, I'm happy with this.

Also just gotta share this( 2-1 victory over Chelsea)

Gotta love it when you FM another team (6). Went up really early through set pieces, and then in the second half had 2 centre-backs red carded as Chelsea where just throwing numbers forward, I think Hazard got fouled like 20 times in 10 minutes. On a 9 Game winning streak at the start of second season, Tactic is working a lot better now I have proper players for all positions.

Ha! You Fm'd FM. Good job (H)

Update to the tactic I have tweaked..

Well I got mixed results with it, while I was happy with the 6-0 win against Chelsea but it didn't go very well in the end and so it's litte bit inconsistent, I have even beaten Man Utd 4-0 on away.. for some reason it does well against bigger sides but not smaller ones and the season we have finished 4th which isn't bad but I was expecting to win the title :P

Second season I will be back to using the main tactic.. so far we have been very active in the transfer market and eager to see how we do with the new signings.

Well I had the same problem, I did half of the season (even more) with Everton and i was 4th or 5th in the league with this tactic so I started again and after the tatic was fluid (Tactics- Very High on Geral Training Match preparation- tactics like Gob posted here before) I changed to Team Cohesion- Medium and on match preparation i did what my assistant manager told me to do like attacking set pieces, etc. That was the only difference to my first save, i bought the same players, just one variable that changed everything for me. See for yourself.

Great results, thanks for sharing (H)

Who is your starting 11? Do you do every pre and post game conference? QPR have pretty low morale to start with, and lots of divas, so it could be a long crawl to get that great team harmony and morale...

It's 2020 and so it's an entirely new squad. I played with the tactic for the best part of a season before trying something else. Although, given recent posts on here mentioning two seasons for the players to become fully adept, I'll continue to stick with it.

Thanks for getting back to me.
