BOCA JUNIORS: BOCA TO THE TOP

boca-juniors.jpg

Club Atlético Boca Juniors is an Argentine soccer club. Argentina is known all over the world for producing amazing football talent, with Messi, Batistuta and Maradona all house hold names. One of the clubs responsible for great Argentine exports is Club Atlético Boca Juniors, simply known by their fans, Boca.
Boca Juniors are located in the famous Buenos Aires suburb, La Boca, and they play in the Argentine premier division. Boca Juniors, along side River Plate, are the most famous clubs in Argentina.
Boca last the Argentine premier division back in 2008, and fans are desperate to retain their crown. Given their lack of current success, they are still one of the most decorated clubs in Argentine history, with 41 official titles, 23 domestically.

The club was founded on April 3, 1905 by five Italian immigrants. The club currently has a fierce rivalry with River Plate, also from Buenos Aires. Matches between the two clubs are known as the Superclásico and is one of the most heated rivalries in Argentina and the world as both clubs are the two most popular in the country.

Estadio Alberto J.Armando

Boca's home stadium is Estadio Alberto J. Armando, which is colloquially known as La Bombonera. .

Boca Juniors play in a Navy Blue Kit with yellow kit, how ever, when the club was first founded, they wore Sky Blue Shirts, with white shorts and for their away games, they wore Pink shirts with white shorts.
Over the years, the clubs shirts would change, how ever, by 1913, they settled for their now famous kit colours.

Key Man: Martin Palermo

30803_news.jpg

Martin Palermo started his Boca career in the 1997-1998 season, after signing for a cool 2.4 Million pounds from Estudiantes. He spent the next four seasons at the club, becoming a fan favourite.
In the year 2000, Palermo signed for Spanish club, Villarreal, for 9.5 Million pounds. He scored six goals in his first season with Villarreal, and in the second season, after celebrating a goal with the fans, he broke his leg which sidelined him for two months. He never found his feet in Spain after the incident, and had largely disappointing spells with Real Betis and Alaves.
After his contract was terminated, Palermo returned to Boca Juniors, to a heroes welcome. the 2010-2011 season will be the 37 year olds last season, as he is retiring from football. He is currently Boca's highest goal scorer ever.

Current Manager: Julio César Falcioni

The man in charge is Julio Falcioni, but he would soon find himself fighting with the Boca Juniors chairman, and the board room.

Carlos Tevez: Join me!

Carlos Tevez, who has been at Boca for a full three days now is using all his pwer to lure Sergio Aguero to Boca. Currently, Aguero is unhappy that a bid from Manchester City was rejected by Atletico Madrid. Sergio Aguero has stated he wants to talk to Manchester City, how ever, he might want to join up with Tevez at Boca. This is a deal that is thought to suit Atletico, as they keep Manchester City away from signing him, and the players morale may shoot back straight back up

Boca Juniors Pre Season

5.1256270307.england-from-the-plane.jpg

After appeasing Boca fans with some fantastic signings, Mr Drezzy took his new side on tour of his homeland, England. Each game would be closely watched back in Argentina, Boca knew they had to perform.

---------- Post added at 09:01 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:34 PM ----------

Crewe Alexandra 2 - 3 Boca Juniors
Calvin Zola (45+1), Sam Edwards (50)
Ricardo Noir (2), Orlando Gaona Lugo (67) Matias Caruzzo (70)

Boca were off to a flying start, scoring with in two minutes. But they took their foot off the pedal, and were making silly mistakes all over the pitch. Just before half time, The railwaymen managed to sneak in a goal, which baffled the Boca faithfull, some 300 Boca fans had shown up to cheer their side on.
After the break, things went from bad to worse as a lacklustre Boca went behind after a neat header by Sam Edwards.
From the touchline, Mr Drezzy barked instructions and Boca began to look like a quality side, stringing passes together and this paid off as Lugo scored a volley from 18 yards out. Boca began to turn the screw, and with Crew tiring, Caruzzo scored a bullet of a header, to give Boca the lead. Boca scraped the win today, but back in Argentina, the fans were far from happy with the performance.

3436831929-02112010204743.jpg

Mr Drezzy didn't want to be harsh on his side, they had scored three goals, but at the same time, had shipped two against a side who were playing in the fourth Division of the English Football League. All though the performance wasn't up to scratch, Mr Drezzy will be happy with the teams resolve, as they came from 2-1 down to win the game 2-3. Next up was a trip to Maidenhead United, where Mr Drezzy knew he had to get a result, as Maidenhead were a team in the Football wilderness.

---------- Post added at 09:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:01 PM ----------

Maidenhead United 1 - 4 Boca Juniors
Paul Moore (79), Danny Phelan Injured (27)
Pablo Piatti (11, 65), Medel (28) Richard Noir (38)

Boca were being touted to win this game by miles, but it didn't turn out that way as the Magpies got stuck in from the start. But debuting Piatti had other ideas. On the 11th minute, he weaved his way through the Maidenhead defence and put the ball into the bottom corner, giving Boca the lead. A superb through ball by Piatti on the 28th minute put Medel through one on one with the keeper, and Medel chipped the ball over the falling Magpies goalkeeper, putting the game out of reach. Boca sat back, knocking the ball around for fun, tiring the United midfield out. On 38, the magical Piatti crossed the ball in the box, and after a scramble, Noir managed to slip the ball into the Maidenhead net, to make it 3-0.
Wholesale changes were made in the second half with Piatti the only player left on the field. Piatti scored his second, and Boca's fourth with a neat free kick from the edge of the area. The Magpies goalkeeper didn't move.
Near the end, Paul Moore delighted the home fans with a volley of his own, beating the out stretching Boca goal keeper.

Tight+corner.jpg

A mixture of first teamers and reserve players were on show today, and Mr Drezzy was delighted with Boca's first half performance. He was impressed by Piatti, who fitted into the team like he'd played for them for years. The second half was slower, and he may have wished for more goals, but it was a professional performance and they secured the win. Mr Drezzy would then take his side to Chesterfield, and then to Manchester

---------- Post added at 09:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:13 PM ----------

Chesterfield 0 - 4 Boca Juniors
Caruzzo (2), Damian Escudero (22), Sergio Lopez (45+1), Martin Palermo (50)

Again, Mr Drezzy expecte a performance and a win. In fact, he wanted to see some improvements. Crewe and Maidenhead were not good football teams, compared to the soccer clubs they would face back in the Argentine Premier league.
The players responded well, With Caruzzo scoring a header from close range two minutes into the game. There was a lull in play for the first twenty minutes, Boca keen to show their new manager how well they can keep possession. They added to their tally wehn Chesterfield's defence collapsed under imense pressure, Escudero scoring from close range. Boca were home and dry but some great saves from Shane Redmond kept the score to 2-0. How ever, he dropped the ball just before the half time whistle, giving Sergio Lopez a easy goal, scoring from point blank.
Chesterfield never caused any danger in front of goal. In the second half, Boca were happy with their lead and again insisted on knocking the ball around until Half Time substitute, and playing for the first time under Mr Drezzy, Boca legend Martin Palermo scored a scorcher from thirty yards out. But that was the last talking point of the game, as both teams attacks fizzled out after the goal.

105802_crop_340x234.jpg

A strong showing from the Boca had pleased Mr Drezzy, but he still wanted more goals. He didn't know who would be in the first team yet, and had only one game to decide.

---------- Post added at 10:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:58 PM ----------

Manchester City 0 - 1 Boca Juniors
Piatti (73)

Boca started the game of well, but City matched them in all departments. City were more intent on shoving Boca off the ball, rather then playing the passing game. Boca tried running rings around them, but there was crunching tackle after tackle, injuring Escudero in the process.
Mr Drezzy was delighted with the first half performance, not conceding and some times out playing City. But it was in the second half that Boca made City pay. After Santa Cruz hit the bar, Boca broke, Palermo knocked the ball onto Piatti who dodged past Kompany, then toure, before smashing the ball past Joe Hart. The ground fell silent as Piatti pointed to the stands, to non other then Carlos Tevez who was rumoured to be signing on a year long loan with Boca

1620173868-26112009225459.jpg

Mr Drezzy was slightly relieved that the talking point of this game was Carlos Tevez's future. Not so many eyes were looking for him to fall at this very early stage. Mr Drezzy was extremely happy leaving Eastlands, he had secured a fantastic win against an up and coming European power house, and had taken with him their prized asset, Carlos Tevez

Boca Juniors: Onwards and Upwards

boca-05-06-boca-juniors-i-will-carry-you-in-my-heart-picture-frame.gif

How fickle are Football fans? When Mr Drezzy had left Argentina with Boca Juniors, he was public enemy number one with people burning the flag of St George, and holding signs telling him "To go home".
But after securing four wins in England and bringing Carlos Tevez back home, the fans were jubilant and as Mr Drezzy stepped off the plane with Tevez, the fans were chanting both their names. But if they could change their minds this fast, then Mr Drezzy knew he had to get his team into a wining routine, otherwise they'd be rioting again.

Season Expectations

Mr Drezzy was shocked when he was sitting with the Boca board. They demanded that Boca lifted at least one trophy this season, the opening title or the closing title. Boca hadn't challenged for the title in a couple of years, in fact, they hadn't challenged at all. But with the arrival of Tevez among others, plus the rumoured arrival of Sergio Aguero, had cemented the boards belief that they were on their way back to the pinnacle of Argentine football.

Boca Expects

Argentina%20-%20Primera%20Division_big.png

With the start of the season fast approaching, Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero were going to wear the famous boca shirts, for at least one season. Mr Drezzy was looking forward to the first game, the team looked to be responding well to his tactics, he had a clean bill of health, the start of the season could not come sooner.
Boca were seen as challengers but punters would view teams like Velez as a safer bet for the Premier division.

Boca Juniors 3-0 Banfield
Martin Palermo (7), Pablo Piatti (58, Penalty 90+2
)

bocajuniors_152591.jpg

Boca Juniors entertained the home crowd with magnificent football. They out played a stunned Banfield. Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero watched from stands as Boca picked Banfield apart. Legend Martin Palermo opened the scoring with a powerful header from the out side of the area, after a lovely chip by Piatti.
One goal up at half time and it should have been more but Palermo scuffed a shot, hitting the post.
Piatti continued his superb form in the second half, working wonders with the ball, people in awe of his skill. He went on a darting run, past one, past two and then past a third defender before slotting the ball into the net, to the delight of the Boca faithful.
And at the end, Galeano was pushed at the near post the referee gave Boca a penalty, where Piatti sent the goal keeper the wrong way, scoring his second.

Boca-Juniors-vs-Banfield.jpg

Mr Drezzy breathed a huge sigh of relief. He couldn't afford a loss at the start of the season, and his team responded well to his preparation. Every Boca Fan in Buenos Aires was on a high, with minor grumblings about the lack of Tevez on the pitch.

Olimpo 0-5 Boca Juniors
Aguero (1, 36) Formica (24, 43) Carlos Tevez (pen 27)
)

Olimpo.jpg

Great times. Second match of the season against a tricky Olimpo side, and Boca destroyed them from the very first whistle. Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero made their debuts away from home, and from the kick off, Tevez knocked the ball back to Galeano, he lofted the ball towards Sergio Aguero, who had sprinted towards the Olimp penalty area. The ball landed at Aguero's feet, he knocked it through the startled defenders legs and buried the ball into the top right hand corner. Olimpo had to deal with waves of Boca attacks and were doing very well until Formica broke through their ranks and was one on one with the goal keeper, neatly chipping it over the stunned Olimpo keeper. Just two minutes later, Carlos Tevez was bundled over in the area and scored the resulting penalty. It was 3-0 in half an hour, and Aguero added to that on the 36 minute marker, with a tidy volley inside the area, giving the keeper no chance. And just before the half time whistle, Formica added his second, and Boca's fifth when he bundled home a lose ball, after a Piatti corner.
The second half should have brought more goals, but with hep from the woodwork, Olimpo managed to keep the score to 5-0. A brilliant game, Delighting the traveling support

t_insaurralde_300.jpg

Mr Drezzy had completed his first away game in charge of Boca, and it had gone very well. Boca were playing lovely one touch football and their strikers were looking lethal in front of goal. Mr Drezzy had to keep the run going.

Boca Juniors 5 - 2 Gimnasia (LP)
Carlos Tevez (4), Aguero (40), Torres (61), Barreto (76, 79)
Capurro (37), Matias Caruzzo own goal (82)

BocaJuniorsfans_468x343.jpg

Boca were back at home, and it was a home debut for Carlos Tevez among others, who recieved a fantastic reception. From the get go, Tevez was on fire and scored the opener on four minutes, with a toe poke from the edge of the area. As the game went on, Gimnasia were happy to hit Boca on the counter attack and that paid off as Capurro scored an unstoppable header on the 37th mark. But this didn't get Boca down, who continued to attack and 3 minutes later, Aguero scored on his home debut, netting a deflected shot.
Boca were ahead at half time but needed to come up with a plan to stop a dangerous Gimnasia counter attack. On 60 minutes, Gimnasia countered again and almost scored but they hit the post. Galeano cleared and Piatti picked up the ball. It was two on two. Piatti passed one defender, and played the ball over the second to a waiting Torres, who blasted it past the goal keeper to put Boca two goals up. Gimnasia began to fold and substitute Barreto scored with his first touch on 76 minutes, a pin point shot from the edge of the area. He scored his second minutes later when a Tevez shot was spilled by the keeper.
Gimnasia then had a corner on 82 minutes which was met by the head of the brilliant Caruzzo, but the ball went in the wrong direction, wrong footed the Boca keeper and trickled into the net.

gimnasia_plata_boca_juniors_01.jpg

The fans welcomed Tevez and Aguero to the ground, singing their names for the entire match. Boca looked superb, and they finally looked like the Boca of old, although it was only early on in the season

Godoy Cryz 1 - 2 Boca Juniors

Donda (86)
Tevez (68), Sergio Aguero (81)

116289_news.jpg

Back on the road for Boca, against up and coming Godoy Cruz who were causing up sets every where. After an early onslaught, Boca began finding their feet but couldn't get a worthwhile shot on goal. After the break, Boca came out and looked the most likely to score and they break the dead lock on 68 minutes when Carlos Tevez volley a Piatti cross home.
Boca continued to push, and Cruz almost caught them a couple of times on the break, how ever, a great solitary effort from Aguero seemed to put the game beyond Cruz. Boca then sat back and almost paid a heavy price for doing so, Cruz pulled on back four minutes from time when Donda headed home. But there was hardly any time left and Boca escaped with a tight win

_40301187_teves270.jpg

Mr Drezzy was proud of this result as Godoy Cruz had been bullying teams all over Argentina for the past year, scraping un likely wins, Boca being a victim last season. How ever, he countered their tactics and Boca came out on top

Boca Juniors 4-0 Quilmes
Carlos Tevez (6, 11) Aguero (24), Pablo Piatti (62)

3471434729_7b4f5315ca.jpg

Boca were expected to win this one with ease, and that's exactly how it turned out. Return home hero Carlos Tevez, Scored within six minutes with a neat chip and then doubled his tally with a superb over head kick on the 11th minute. Quilmes were shell shocked and could only other a couple of shots, that went high over the bar. On 24, Piatti went on a trademark run and laid the ball off to Aquero, who put the ball under the keeper.
Boca then began to hold back, inviting Quilmes onto them, yet Quilmes couldn't get a decent shot on target.
After the break, Boca were content to hit Quilmes on the counter, and that's what happened on 62 minutes as Piatti picked up a Galeano through ball and hit a bullet of a goal, leaving the Quilmes keeper with no chance. Quilmes finally did get a shot on the 81st minute but Romero saved easily .

For years the Boca fans had dreamed of this, two Argentine Strikers fronting the Boca attack. Mr Drezzy was delighted with the perfect start, which had seen Boca top the table. And even the most hardcore Boca fan had began to accept The Englishman

No,

The only reason Tevez came to Boa is because it is his favourite club.....And Aguero was happy to play in Argentina because he is from Argentina....

If i had chosen to heavily edit the game, i would be a billionaire and Lionel Messi would be in a Boca shirt

Tigre 2 - 2 Boca Juniors

Martin Galmarini (1), Leone (57)
Tevez (11), Formica (43)

tigre-vs-boca.jpg

this was billed as a match Boca should win, but Tigres shocked Boca from the get go, on their first attack they scored, and for the following nine minutes they Blitzed the Boca goal. Drastic changes were needed but the ever present and Boca Idol, Carlos Tevez, managed to score a lucky goal on 11 minutes, but still Tigres went for Boca's jugular. Some inspirational defending from Galeano and Caruzzo, plus some top saves from Romero, saved Boca from getting a mauling. Tigres began to tire towards the end of the half and Piatti managed to escape the last man. He was at a tight angle with the goal keeper rushing out at him, he chose to play the ball back where Formica slided the ball into an empty net. Boca were lucky to go in ahead at half time.
The second half was a different story with Boca peppering the Tigres goal at least twice a minute, but they couldn't break through. Tigres caught Boca out with a cheeky free kick, Romero cemented to the spot, Leone had equalised. Boca continued to press, but couldn't find the net, unwilling to commit to many men incase of a Tigre counter attack. In the end, a fair result

boca-tigre-viatri-arruabarrena.jpg

This was probably the first time Mr Drezzy had seen his Boca side under the cosh. How ever, he changed things at half time and it looked like Boca would win the game, but they just couldn't find that goal. Boca were like Jeckle and Hyde in this game, much for Mr Drezzy to think about

haha, sorry if i came across like that, It wasn't easy, it was extremely hard, took all summer to sign the two of them.

it all started when i bid about £50 mill for Tevez just to see if he would come to Boca, and he would, but i couldn't afford the transfer fee or the wages. But then other teams were bidding, i put in a loan bid and it was accepted....was very hard and very frustrating. The same happened with Aguero too, he was slightly easier because he was unhappy City had a bid rejected.
I also tried doing the same with players like Eden Hazard etc, but they wouldn't even think about coming to Argentina.

Your story and layout is great. However imo your signings unrealistic.. Aguero to Boca.. Don't care home country or not it is mega unrealistic to me. I was thinking about following and I may still do but to me tevez and Kun at boca is rather unrealistic and you should win the league easily.

I apologise if I offend or if you really have got them without cheating but it's just rather unrealistic to me ;)

Ah i see, what patch and updates are you using bud? did you pay anything for tevez loan fee or aguero and did you pay wages? how much?

Boca Juniors 3-0 Velez
Aguero (35), Carlos Tevez (66, pen 82))

Velez were just two points behind leaders Boca Juniors, so it was natural that this would be a tight game. Early exchanges were like a game of chess, both teams to scared to over commit. The game had a cat and mouse affect, and it would take something special to break the dead lock, and that something sspecial was Aguero. On 35 minutes, he was holding the ball up, but every Boca player was marked, there was no space, so Aguero broke away from his marking and blasted the ball from 30 yards, beating the out stretching Velez keeper.
Velez had their chances too, a good double save from Romero kept them out. Boca took a slender lead into half time, Mr Drezzy obviously wanted a more fluid game after the break.
But it wasn't to be, again it was cat and mouse. Velez nearly equalised but their strikers missed an open goal, to the delight of Mr Drezzy. On 66, Boca broke, Velez had lost compusure, Piatti broke, went on a darting run and laid it of to Martin Palermo, who lifted the ball into the air and Carlos Tevez rifled it into the net. Velez heads fell.
On 82, a tired Velez conceded a penalty after a hand ball, which Tevez netted to make the score 3-0

Mr Drezzy was ecstatic, Boca didn't play fast flowing football like he wished, but they had gradually broken down a very stubborn and very good Velez team, gaining a five point lead at the top

using the latest patch. Erm, I didnt pay a loan fee for tevez, but am paying £97,000 of his wages. I paid about 1 million for Aguero, and paying £70,000 of his wages.

I just loaded a game and they didnt give me anywhere near that amount of money for wages? "/

You can't do it straight away, it took alot of player sales, alot of negotiating and alot of luck, mainly other clubs bidding for them....I was playing pre season for about 6 hours, constant back and forth negotiations. Wasn't easy mate
