Colon 0-2 Boca Juniors

Correa (2) Carlos Tevez (63)
)

Colon+vs+Boca+Juniors.jpg

Boca wrapped up the first half of the season with an away trip to Colon, with the Opening Stage Title wrapped up. Colon played with out urgency and Correa scored with in two minutes, a delightful shot from inside the area. With hardly anything to note, Tevez added a second, and the winner, on 73 minutes, cutting the ball across the keeper. Boca won the game easily

boca_juniors_colon_01.jpg

If Boca could continue their fine form, they would be odds on favourites to lift the closing stage title too

Argentina: Closing Championship

fondo-de-escritorio-boca-juniors.jpg

After two long months, The Premier division kicked off again, the second half of the season, known as the Closing stage was about to begin, Where Boca would face Olimpo at home.
Boca fans wanted more of the same, to dominate the league like they had done in the Opening Stage. Tevez was going to be on fire, but the second part of the season would be harder, as Boca would enter the Copa Libertadores, The South American version of the Champions League, which would surely test Boca's resources.

---------- Post added at 03:04 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:54 PM ----------

Boca Juniors 1-1 Olimpo
Aguero (71)

Bareiro (21), Mosset sent off (39)

01bo.jpg

Boca were at home for the kick off of the second stage of the season. Boca hadn't gone on tour, or played a friendly, Mr Drezzy thought that giving the players total rest would give him the advantage, but it proved to be a mistake. It was an unfancied Olimpo who took the lead, punishing some slack Boca defending, Bareiro picking up the lose ball and slotting the ball into the bottom corner.
Boca did try and get back into it, but they seemed to be missing that spark, Even with Tevez and Aguero in the team. Things started to look up as Mosset was sent off for elbowing Piatti on 39 minutes, But Boca still lacked conviction and couldn't punish Omimpo.
It looked as if Boca would lose their first match of the season but on 74 minutes, Aquero picked up the ball in the Penalty Area, and smashed it towards goal. It took a slight defection and ended up in the net. Boca looked a little tired and it was Omlipo who nearly snatched the win, but a great save from Romero helped Boca hold on

boca-vs-olimpo.jpg

Mr Drezzy didn't look like a happy man, and after the game, he stormed down the tunnel. Ealier on in the season, Boca would have punished Olimpo for going a man down, but they just didn't have the IT factor, he had some work to do

Banfield 2 - 1 Boca Juniors

Ruben Ramirez (44, 64)

Tevez (34)

wpid-Banfield-vs-Boca-Juniors.jpg

The papers were suggesting that today would be the day that Boca would continue their fine form, after the hiccup at home against Olimpo. The stats would suggest that Boca murdered Banfield here, but in reality it wasn't the truth. Boca had 19 shots, but just one on Target and that was Carlos Tevez's 34th minute wonder goal. Boca were playing badly, but Banfield were too and just before half time, Banfield snatched a goal with Ramirez sliding the ball under Romero
The second half came, and Boca just could not get out of second gear, to the frustration of Mr Drezzy, who tried changing things. Boca looked a little better but it was Ramirez who punished a Galeano slip, scoring a carbon copy of his first goal.
Banfield held on to beat Boca, Boca finally losing

boca-lose.jpg

Mr Drezzy had already forgotten about the first half of the season, that was history, He needed Boca to play like Champions, and they weren't, something wasn't right and Mr Drezzy needed to get to the bottom of it

The Strongest 0 - 4 Boca Juniors

Caruzzo (20), Aguero (27), Vaca Own Goal (38), Tevez (61)

3466309831_185aa2bc9c.jpg

Boca looked to bounce back from their defeat, they were up against a solid side, The Strongest. But Boca looked like a different team, passing the ball well, with Riquelme looking good. It was his through ball that lead to the opening goal, Caruzzo, running up from the defense, blasting the ball into the top hand corner.
The Strongest couldn't offer a reply and it was Aguero who made it 2-0, with his back to the goal, he turned and put the ball to the keepers right. Things got worse for The Strongest as Vaca scored a terrible own goal.
Boca went in at half time 3 goals to the good, The Strongest looked disheartened. In the second half, it was more of the same from Boca, who slowed the game down and were happy to knock the ball around. The Strongest started to tire and the ever present Tevez punished them with a trademark goal to make it 4-0.

f_caruzzo_200x300.jpg

Mr Drezzy expected a tough game here, but Boca delighted him with a brilliant performance. Now he needed to transfer this form to the Premier Division, as they'd already lost some ground.

Boca Juniors 5-1 Independiente
Tevez (8), Piatti (28, 83), Juan Manuel Insaurralde (42), Aguero (44) Aguero Injured (76), Pablo Piatti Injured (90+1)

Velazquez (71)

BocaIndependiente278.jpg

Boca were back at home, looking on the up after destroying The Strongest. This time they welcomed Independiente.
Carlos Tevez opened the scoring when he chipped the keeper on 8 minutes. Boca didn't look back and on 28, the wonderful Piatti scored a lovely 25 yard shot, sending the Boca fans crazy. Then, three minutes before half time, Stand in defender, Insaurralde, scored a goal with a bullet header at the near post. Boca were cruising, 3-0 up at half time.
Boca came out, happy with their lead and knocked the ball around, but it was Independiente who nearly got the next goal, rattling the wood work on two occasions. But it was Boca who got the fourth, Aguero scoring from 10 yards out on 55 minutes.
On 77 Velaquez, managed to grab one back, but Boca felt aggrieved because Aguero was laying in pain after a strong tackle.
But Piatti restored the four goal lead, with another good goal, this time from 18 yards out, placing the ball into the right hand corner. As Piatti went on the attack, he was taken out by a dirty two footed tackle, but the referee didn't even show a yellow.

1259975155334_f.jpg

Mr Drezzy had to be happy, Boca were back were they wanted to be. They still had alot of work to do, as they were laying 7th in the league. But for all the good to come out of this match, there was some bad too. Jesus Mendez was suspended after picking up too many yellow cards, and two of his top stars, Aguero and Piatti had been injured. It's not known how long they'll be out for

Gimnasia (LP) 4-7 Boca Juniors

Juan Neira (28, 37, 45+2), Vizcarra (46)

Carlos Tevez (7), Aguero (23, 41, 56, 69, 83), Ariel Aguero Own Goal (53)
)

wpid-Gimnasia-La-Plata-vs-Boca-Juniors.jpg

A cracking game, 3-3 at half time, no one could predict the final score, it was from one end to the other. Tevez opened the scoring within 7 minutes, when Tevez smashed a bouncing ball into the net. Then, Aguero, who was on fire and returning from his Injury scored the second on 23 minutes, a perfect over head kick.
Then Gimnasia hit Boca on the break, Neira scoring his first, with a header, to cut Boca's lead into half. Neira was on fire and he scored the equaliser on 37 when he chipped the keeper. But Aguero wouldn't have any of it and on 41 minutes, he gave Boca the lead with a terrific run, a one two with Piatti, before burying the ball into the net, sublime finish.
Boca were wating for the whitle when Caruzzo fouled Masuero, giving Gimnasia a free kick. Neira stepped up, took the free kick and scored a lovely placed goal. 3-3 at half time.
After the break, Gimnasia kicked of and scored straight away, Vizcarra with a lobbed effort, beating Romero. Gimnasia were 4-3 up in a thrilling game, and Neira nearly added his forht but his effort skimmed the right hand post.
It was a Gimnasia player who scored the next goal, but it was an own goal as Ariel Aguero headed into his own net to tie the scores yet again, 4-4.
Gimnasia then began to run out of steam, and the amazing Aguero pounced on 56 minutes, scoring from point blank as Ariel Aguero almost scored another own goal. 4-5 to Boca.
Gimnasia heads went down and it was Aguero who punished them again on 69 minutes, scoring his fourth and Boca's sixth. There was no catching Boca now, Gimnasiahad no more answers, and on 83, Aguero scored is fith, placing the ball into the net after a through ball by Riquelme. Fantastic game

gimnasia_plata_boca_juniors_01.jpg

Boca had won in style, but again, They had conceded some silly goals, and too many. If it wasn't for Aguero, Boca probably would have suffered their second loss of the season. The scores were good but Boca were pushing their luck, they needed to become alot more solid at the back

Boca Juniors 8 - 0 Alianza Lima

Sergio Aguero (3, 23, Pen 37, 86), Carlos Tevez (8, 12, 14, 42)

worldtrip2006.1164378480.img_0676.jpg

What can any one say, this wasn't about Boca, it wasn't about a poor Alianza Lima side, It was all about Aguero and Tevez. Every one else was there to make up the numbers. It was a fantastic night as Tevez and Aguero battled it out to see who could score more goals. But the battle ended even as they both scored 4 each, What a night in Buenos Aires

tevez13.jpg

Mr Drezzy was speechless. This was the Tevez and Kun show, and he let their performance speak for itself

Carlos Tevez (40, 58, 87) Sergio Aguero (70)

Castilo (66)

Boca%20Juniors%20vs%20Godoy%20Cruz%5B5%5D.jpg

The first encounter of the season between these tow sides ended in a tight 2-1 victory for Boca, and it was the same again today as Cruz looked to stop Boca from playing, and it worked extremely well. But five minutes before the half, some magical work from Tevez opened up the Cruz defence, with Palermo hitting the bar, Tevez was quickest to react, and he put his team one goal to the good.
Cruz needed a goal, and as they chased the game, they opened up and Boca managed to pick them off on 58 minutes, with Tevez finishing a great team move, putting Boca two up. But Cruz believed they could get something from the game, and pushed onwards, With Castillo scoring from 2 yards out. Cruz's tails were up and they attacked again, but the ball was cleared by Caruzzo and Boca hit Cruz on the break, with Aguero putting the game out of reach, with a powerful strike from 18 yards out. Cruz fell apart, not knowing whether to defend or attack. Tevez took advantage and blasted in from close range to secure his hat trick and the Boca win

boca-godoy-cruz.jpg

Boca played very well, not giving up, they kept battering the awesome Cruz defence, knowing it would crumble. Boca tactically out mastered a stubborn Cruz today, with manager, Mr Drezzy, taking the plaudits.

Bernardo Romeo (45+1)

vsQuilmes160507.jpg

Just when Boca started to play well again, and looked like they could catch the leaders, and only one point behind hated rivals River Plate, Boca go and lose. Quilmes were unimpressive but so were Boca who just didn't turn up. And their prima dona attitude was shot to pieces and punished when Romeo headed into the Boca net.
Boca have shown they can come from behind, but it didn't happen today. Boca almost snatched a point when Riquelme scored three minutes into stoppage time, but the goal was ruled out due to a foul only the referee saw.

11752424990.jpg

It just didn't happen on the pitch today, and Boca had lost their second of the season. This result would mean Boca playing catch up

Boca Juniors 3 - 1 Moreila

Correa (49), Tevez (80), Piatti (86)

Romero Own Goal (66)

Bombonera1.jpg

Boca returned home to play a decent Morelia side, from Mexico. Morelia had turned up to get the draw, and certainly made Boca work. The first half ended goal less, but in the second Half, Boca began to turn the screw and four minutes in, Substitute Correa scored his first goal in a while. How ever, Morelia were more then just a defending team and came on the attack, forcing an era from Romero, who pushed the ball into his own net.
Morelia, happy with the draw, started to sit back and it looks as if Boca would again fail to break them down, but the ball pinballed around the box on the 80th minute, and Tevez Bundles the ball into the net. An urgency came over Morelia who started to attack, but 6 minutes later, Boca broke extremely quickly and within four passes, Piatti had the ball in the net to secure the win

boca-juniors-copa-libertadores.jpg

Boca had bounced back from the disappointing defeat at the hand of Quilmes. They secured another win, and looked favourites to Qualify

Boca Juniors 3 - 1 Tigre
Carlos Tevez (11, 39, 63)
Cardinali (42), Martinez sent off (61)

esc-boca-vs-tigre.jpg

After a nice win in the Copa Libertadores, Boca looked to gain 3 points and keep in touch with the leaders Estundiantes, who were 5 points clear. Velez were 3 ahead of Boca and Colon were ahead by a point. River were ahead on goal difference, but that would change as River lost earlier on in the day.
Tevez was on fire today, and he opened the scoring on 11 minutes, running around the Tigres keeper and blasting the ball home. After trading blows, Boca went on the attack 6 minutes from time, With Tevez again rounding the keeper and scoring. It looked all Rosey for Boca but Tigres scored a fortunate goal, which injected venom into their attack. Tigres had a chance cleared of the line by Galeano, and were unlucky to go in the goal down.
After the half, Tigres attacked again, and Boca looked a little shaky, but on 61 minutes, Piatti broke, and took the ball around Martinez. Martinez took him down and as he was the last man, he was sent off. From the resulting free kick, Tevez scored a glancing header to earn his hat trick, and the win for Boca

san_lorenzo_boca_juniors_triangular.jpg

Boca deserved the win, but again it could have gone either way if Martinez wasn't sent off. how ever, Mr Drezzy was happy that Boca took their chances when they were offered to them

Boca travelled to Mexico to play Morelia once again. Boca were off to a flyer when Tevez scored a trademark goal on 13 minutes. But the scores were soon level when Caruzzo had a shot hit against him, sending the ball into his own net. It was 1-1 and Morelia picked up their game, scoring again four minutes later when Rodriguez scored a thunderous goal.
2-1 down at the break, Boca came out looking for the equaliser, and they got just that when Tevez pounced an a goal keeper error, levelling the scores. But Boca couldn't add another and Morelia scored the winner on 68 minutes, Aguilar with a close range header. That goal knocked the wind out of Boca, and they lost the game

3609668514_966e7dc6a8.jpg

After the loss in Mexico, Boca travelled to rivals Velez, who were challenging for the Closing Stage title.
Aguero made his return and Boca looked the more likely to win, Tevez Scoring a scorcher before half time and Aguero scoring a real poachers goal just after half time. Velez looked dangerous though and Boca sat back. Velez had a penalty for hand ball, but Silva blasted wide. As the game went to the death, Boca were happy with the two goal lead and sat back, inviting a dangerous Velez onto them. Silva made up for his penalty miss, scoring from 4 yards out. But Boca looked likely to hold onto the lead, but the last kick of the game, Millar spooned his shot but it some how found it's way into the Boca net. Velez had secured the draw right at the end

After a nice win in the Copa Libertadores, Boca needed a win today, to keep the pressure on the leaders. But again, Boca looked a little shaky. With Lorenzo going close, Boca broke away on 23 minutes and won a corner. From the Piatti cross, Powerful centre half, Caruzzo, nodded the ball home. Boca then doubled their lead when Tevez volleyed home from the edge of the 18 yard line. And just before hold time, Aguero popped up and head into an empty net.
Things got worse for Lorenzo, as they had a man dismissed on 48 for a vile punch on Tevez, who needed treatment, but ten minutes later, Tevez got his revenge, scoring his second and Boca's winner, another Powerful shot from the edge of the area.
San Lorenzo got a goal of their own as Jimenez beat Galeano and shot under the keeper. But that wasn't enough and Boca saw the game out, winning 4-1

Mr Drezzy was happy with the win, which lifted Boca into third, still five points behind the leaders

SuperClasico returns!

river-boca.jpg

Two football-mad halves of a football-mad city meet twice a year for the great superclásico matches. More than 65,000 fans stream into the stadium to watch Buenos Aires rivals Boca Juniors and River Plate fight it out.

On match days, the dress code in Buenos Aires is strictly blue and yellow or red and white. All thoughts of work disappear and crowds gather around any available television.

The next fixture is on the 5 May 2011 at El Monumental de Nuñez or River Plate Stadium, with the Previous ending in a 1-1 draw. But River will want the win more then ever, as Boca hold the local bragging rights, Having lifted the Opening Stage title.

It can be quite difficult to get tickets but you can usually find them on the local black market or via online ticket outlets.

The Observer newspaper said Boca Juniors Vs. River Plate was the number one sporting event that any person should place on their sporting ‘bucket list’.

Violence in Under 18's Super Clasico.

0,,21669907-DP,00.jpg

Before the big match, River played Boca under 18's, with the final result 2-2. But the main talking point was a mass brawl on the pitch, between rival players. Let's just hope it doesn't boil over into the SuperClasico later today.

River Plate 3 - 5 Boca Juniors

Ariel Ortega (80, 84), Funes Mori (83)

Tevez (33, 53), juan Pablo Carrizo Own Goal (39), matias Caruzzo (68), Aguero (75)

This was it, SuperClasico. If Boca could win, they would come within 3 points of the leaders, if River could win, they would leap frog Boca into third place. The game was tense, each team giving the ball away, every one seemed a little stiff, but half an hour into the game, Tevez kept his nerve as a deflected ball landed at his feet, he blasted the ball across the keeper, into the far end of the goal. 1-0 to Boca. Then Tragedy for River, as Jaun Pablo Carrizo came for a Piatti cross, but the ball went through his hands, hit his head and into the River net. Carrizo was substituted the straight away, on the next day, he was on a plane to Greece, because he was sold to Olympiakos.
2-0 to the champions and it only got better after half time as tevez silenced the crowd yet again with a goal from three yards out. It was over, Boca were cruising, and Caruzzo scored a fine header, after a Chavez corner. Aguero rounded the Boca scoring of, scoring the fifth goal with a cheeky lob. Boca were 5 goals up.
You'd be forgiven if you were to say that was it, game over, But a fantastic Ortega header on the 80th minute lit a fire under River, and they attacked Boca. Suddenly, they looked the better team, with Ortega setting up Mori for Rivers second. Could they do it? could they come back?. The belief was yes, because Boca gave the ball away straight away, Mori this time returned the favour and set up Ortega for his second. It was 5-3 with 6 minutes to go. On the 89th, Ortega was denied his hat trick by the post, and if they'd have scored, they may have drawn level, but the miss killed of River, and Boca survived the onslaught. Boca win the SuperClasico

Boca-beat-River.jpg

Mr Drezzy was delighted that Boca had scored 5 goals against arch rivals, River Plate. How ever, he was angry at how boca let River back into the game. none the less, they'd won

Second Round, 2nd Leg

Boca Juniors (3)2 - 0(1) Independiente

Galeano (49), Carlos Tevez (61)

BocaIndependiente278.jpg

Boca wouldn't let Independiente play, keeping the ball and pinning them back. In the second half, Galeano put the tie to rest with Boca's first of the night, a glancing header at the near post. It was now 4-1 on aggregate, and Independiente didn't have it in them to come back. Tevez secured Boca's route into the final, after a lovely ball from Palermo

A great win, Boca were through to the next round.

Boca Juniors 3 - 3 Fluminense

Fernando Henrique Own Goal (50), Christian Chavez (60), Javier Correa (82)

Rodriguinho (67), Thiaguinho (78, 84)

boca-fans.jpg

A very tight first half, but Fluminense looked the better side. But it was Boca who scored the opening goal in the second half, as Henrique fumbled the ball into his own net. Ten Minutes later, Chavez hit a half volley from the edge of the area, which weaved through the defense and some how, the ball found its way into the net. Seven minutes later, Rodriguinho scored Fluminense first, a brilliant piece of Brazilian magic, he strolled through the defence before putting the ball to the keepers right. On 78 minutes, Thiaguinho picked up the lose ball in the area, and slotted the ball home, to equal the scores. But there was joy for Boca as substitute Correa put Boca back in front, with a clever header. But that joy was soon turned into dread as Thiaguinho broke, and blasted the ball past Romero. it was 3-3 at the end, Fluminense looked favourites to go through

bocaflu_1stleg.jpg

Boca were lucky to escape with the draw, Fluminense looked like the better side. Now Boca have a mountain to climb, if they have any hope of going through to the Semis.

Argentinos 0 - 3 Boca Juniors

Chavez (50), Formica (69), Aguero (881)

huracan-1-2-argentinos-009.jpg

Things were looking up, Boca were 8 points behind the leaders but had 3 games in hand. They needed to win all of them, to stand any chance of winning the league. They went a long way here, dominating Argentinos, allowing them only 2 shots. But Boca only broke through in the second half, Chavez scoring a long ranged free kick. Then, Boca really turned the screw, With Formica getting Boca's second. Aguero rounded of the scoring on 81 minutes, Job Done

argentinos_boca_juniors.jpg

Mr Drezzy a happy man, their form in the league was now where he wanted it to be. But he had to keep his team on the ground, they had an extremely hard tie against Fluminense in just a few days

Rodriguinho (35)

Aguero (25), Tevez (58, 71)

2554335867_21d67b47ac.jpg

This will for ever go down as How the **** didn't they win. Fluminense were awesome, they played like Barcelona, if not better, but they couldn't find the net. It was a lucky and rare break by Boca, which gave them the lead. Aguero blasting under the keeper.
Fluminense finally found the net on 35, with Rodriguinho scoring a screamer. They looked like they would go on and walk away with the tie, but again, they couldn't score. On another lucky break on 58 minutes, Boca had their first chance of the half and Tevez, this time, blasted the ball against the bar but it rebounded of a post and in. Boca had the lead on the night, and on Aggregate.
Fluminense threw everything at Boca, but Boca survived and broke away again on 78 minutes and put the tie beyond Fluminense, with Tevez grabbing his second. Boca through to the semi's

Boca were lucky to go through, and they knew it. Mr Drezzy was heard saying, sometimes you need abit of luck

Boca Juniors 3 - 2 Arsenal De Sarandi

Aguero (21, 90+2), Correa (58)

Choy (14), Alvarez (47)

wpid-Boca-Juniors-vs-Arsenal-de-Sarand-.jpg

This was it, Boca needed a win to go to the top of the table. But Arsenal had other ideas and took the lead on 14 minutes when Choy headed home. But Boca were determined, and Aguero scored an over head kick on 21 minutes. Arsenal Frustrated Boca and two minutes after the restart, Alverez shocked the hosts with a 25 yard free kick. Boca were desperate, but on 58, Correa equalled the scores. But Boca still needed a goal, and it didn't look like coming until Piatti broke away at the end of the game, he cross the ball where Correa missed the ball, which fooled the last man. It trickeld to Aguero who netted to score the winner, Finally Boca were at the top of the table

Mr Drezzy was an angry figure for the entire game, but when Aguero scored the winner, he jumped for Joy. Boca were back at the top

Cheers mate, Defo will look into it. I've just put a bid in for Lanzini and Pereyra.

Actually, i need some one to replace Palermo who will retire at the end of this season, do you have any hot tips?

Tevez and Aguero are defo not coming back, so i managed to sign santa Cruz and Jo to replace them

Semi Finals, 1st Leg

Boca Juniors 0 - 1 Velez

Silva (19)

wpid-Boca-Juniors-vs-V-lez-Sarsfield.jpg

Boca must now know how Fluminense felt. Boca were by the far the better side, but couldn't find one opening. Velez had 3 shots, and scored one, that coming on 19 minutes after Silva passed the ball under Romero's legs, and into the net.
Velez had the lead in the tie, and that vital away goal

roman-riquelme-velez-boca-sudamericana.jpg

Mr Drezzy couldn't believe it, Boca should have won, but it was Velez leaving Buenos Aires with the win. He had his work cut out

Semi Finals Finals, 2nd Leg

Velez (1) 0 - 2(0) Boca Juniors

Piatti (1), Formica (85)

3764952856_31c03e6882.jpg

This will go down as one of the most nerve racking games ever, and it clearly affected the players.
Pablo Piatti scored the first goal in just under a minute, equaling the scores on aggregate, but there was a long way to go. The action was back and forth, both teams coming close numerous times. But it was Formica who had the final say, tapping in a shot that had rebounded off the post, the second for Boca, and a second away goal. It was too late for Velez to strike back, Boca were through to finals

12000682950.jpg

It's a surprise that Mr Drezzy had finger nails left after the one, but when that final whistle went, he was jumping all over the place, celebrating with his players, they had reached the finals

Huracan 1 - 3 Boca Juniors

Mariano Torres (3)

Sergio Augero (35, 45+1, 83)

boca.huracan.jpg

After dropping points against Lanus, Boca found them selves two points behind in second place. They needed the win today, to keep up, and it showed as Huracan took a surprising lead just 3 minutes in. but Boca regained their composure and Aguero equalised with a placed shot on 35. Then on the brink of half time, Aguero scored a header, and Boca were on their way. Aguero completed his hat trick on 83 minutes, to give Boca some vital points

8.jpg

boca were two points behind, they couldnt afford to drop any more points this season, it was make or break, Mr Drezzy was certainly feeling the pressure

Still following this! It's an absolutely amazing story! Tevez and Aguero are so key to your succes this season! you need to hope that santa cruz and jo are good replacements :) keep it up bud

Finals 1st Leg

Santos 2- 3 Boca Juniors

Marguinhos (32), Rodriguinho (87)

Carlos Tevez (18, 48, 83)

228267.jpg

Boca looked up for this but so did Santos. It was a free flowing game, but it was Boca who scored first, Carlos Tevez snatching at the ball, which bounced over the Santos Stopper. 1-0.
It was Santos who scored the next goal, Marquinhos nodding in after a sublime move by the Brazilians.
After the break, Tevez scored boca's second goal, a vital away goal with a sweet strike from ten yards out. After some back and fourth action, Tevez scored his hat trick on 83 minutes, he was one on one with the keeper, and he easily rounded him.
Boca looked like they would take a good result back to Argentina but three minutes from time, Rodriguinho score one of the best goals of the tournament, an amazing 40 yard, blistering shot, that Romero just couldn't save. But it was Boca with the lead, 3 away goals, but Boca couldn't rest on their laurels

tevez3.jpg

Mr Drezzy was happy with the result, he had gone Brazil praying for at least a draw, and he had walked away with a win. THe Boca faithful will no doubt sing his name in the next leg

haha, i hope so too. I knew Aguero would not come back, but i thought Tevez would. I put in a bid for him, which was accepted, but he refused to talk to me. Then he refused to come back on loan. So it's probably safe to say he wont be back next season.
I need some one to replace Palermo as well, Neymar is probably too expensive, will have a look around in Argentina.

Once again good stuff mate. Hows it going with those signings?

Up front try Freddy Montero

might do a small update now.

Boca Juniors 4 - 0 All Boys

Aguero (35), Chavez (44), Tevez (50, 89)

boca-juniors-stadium.jpg

Boca faced a stubborn All Boys, but they needed the win. If they did, they would go top of the table. Boca started of well, But all Boys matched them. All boys came close, but it was boca who opened the flood gates. Aguero's 35th minute tap in was the start, and one minute before half time, Chavez scored from a difficult angle.
Five minutes after the break Tevez scored his first goal of the game, a scorching shot from twenty yards out, the All boys keeper getting a slight touch o the ball. All Boys didn't have any answers and one minute from time, Tevez scored his second, sending Boca to the top

boca-1-0-river.jpg

After a long season, Mr Drezzy's Boca had reached the top again. they'd been there a few weeks ago but a draw against Lanus knocked them off the top. Now Mr Drezzy was determined to stay there, with only two games left

Boca Juniors 3 - 0 Racing Club

Roque Santa Cruz (47, 57), Jo (83)

Racing-Boca.jpg

This was Boca's game in hand, and if they win, they'd have one hand on the title. But Boca were uninspirational in the first half, with Racing Club going the closest. How ever, Santa Cruz and Jo both came on at half time, 36 hours after arriving in Argentina, to make their debuts. And Cruz scored almost straight away with a powerful header. Ten minutes later, Cruz scored his second to the delight of the home crowd.
To make the future departures of Tevez and Aguero easier to stomach, New boy Jo also scored on his Debut, to ease the fans worries, with a lovely header. Boca had one hand on the title

The title was boca's to throw away but Mr Drezzy had to be happy with the debuts of his two new signings.

And on 39 minutes, the departing Carlos Tevez scored his final goal for Boca, handing them the Copa Libertadores
