After a quiet few months from the Manchester City Chairman Cool M Cool we managed to catch a few words with the Pasty Tycoon about his teams recent form.

Reporter - So many people believe that your side is the biggest underachiever of the season so far would you agree with this?

Cool M Cool - Yes we have at the start of the season but in recent weeks our form has picked up incredibly.

Reporter - What would you say was the turning point for you?

Cool M Cool - The 4-1 demolition of Bayern Munich, which set us on our way for 5 straight wins in all competitions.

Reporter - Do you think it took time for players to adjust with the 4 new players brought in by you and another 4 from the previous regime?

Cool M Cool - Yes definitely we were playing 6 new players in our starting 11 which is a big change and some of them have really kicked on well in recent weeks with Negredo already on double figures for his goalscoring.

Reporter - Do you think your side can win the title still after being favourites at the beginning of the season?

Cool M Cool - Well the cups dont get handed out before Christmas but we have made it hard for ourselves with the poor start.

Reporter - Do you think squad depth hurt you at all?

Cool M Cool - Yes i will be the first to admit that i may have let too many players go out of the club and not brought in enough bodies, My aim for the winter window will be to rectify this especially in the foreign window as we forgot about it in the Summer!

Reporter - Finally, what are you thoughts on who will be relegated this season?

Cool M Cool - Its hard to say really theres only 3 points separating the bottom 6 teams i know other people will be happy to see the bottom two clubs go down for different reasons but im more focused on our own results than anyone elses.

Do you want to post another update by around friday and then have the chairman to chairman transfer window for 4 or 5 days? Will give you plenty of time to get sorted then and almost a month since we started

I'll post another update tomorrow evening; in time for Friday. (if that is ok with borne and his internet still isn't working).
 
New Chairman will be announced on friday / apologies for the delay, i hate sky, they're coming out on friday , the internet i get is only 4-8mbs due to my location. booo


@Disclaimer - If you can do the update on Friday still, that would be brilliant only if Nath is ok with his Manager change (see below)


@NathWalker - Your board have changed your manager to Hiddink - are you ok with that or do you want me to edit it for january - PM Disclaimer if your ok to carry on with Hiddink

What are the rules on contracts - is that handled by our boards & managers, or do we have a say in it?

I will post European update - after next update!

After a few weeks of silence controversial chairman Aidan Murphy has launched an interesting assessment of the season. Speaking today Murphy had this to say about his sides start ,'' I think we're doing extremely well. We're 1 point off safety and don't have the squad 19 other teams have. I think no one expects us to stay up and I can see why. We don't have the players to stay up and it's unlikely that we will pull it off but we'll give it a shot.''
When asked about Hull's start Murphy said ,'' I had no plans to talk about them but they're bottom and spend a ridiculous amount of money. I think it's unfair and dodgy to be honest. They are clearly underachieving big time but knowing them they'll probably go and spend another 30 Million on players so it's nearly impossible to compete with them as they bend the rules. I still expect them to be safe despite the position they are in anyway.''
Before Murphy left he was quizzed on the January transfer window and said , '' I don't expect us to be majorly active. I think we will have to battle with what we have. We were favorites to finish bottom so we're doing well at the moment. I think their will maybe be 1 addition but that will be it. I don't want to spend 30 million like other owners because we CAN'T and WON'T.''
It appears to be a different Murphy after the start of the season and it's interesting to see how the fellow chairmen react to this more calmer man as he plays down his changes of staying up.

contracts decisions are down to the manager alone.

obviously you have the final day on who the manager is but there is nothing you can do Ingame when a club decides to sack the manager.
 
Will be interesting if say Moyes whos job is at insecure gets sacked and then they take another premier league teams manager
