My explanation was poor. I meant to say that there is nothing Ingame you can do to stop the changes from happening. However you can override this by asking born to swap the manager back to the original one.

Yes I know.
But I'm only asking about the opportunity to pro-long/extend your managers contract.

Besides I think, that if your manager is approach by another club, and he accepts - then you shouldn't be able to make him come back!

Will be interesting if say Moyes whos job is at insecure gets sacked and then they take another premier league teams manager

*prays* let it be big Sam! Saves me having to give compensation if I were to sack him :p

Slean steps down as joint chairmain at palace

After today shocking news we caught up with MR Slean to see why he has decided to depart from the palace co chairman. "i joint palace because i care a lot for the club and all it represents. i do not feel aidan feels the same as me. Im not going to go into detail on why i left but all im going to say is that mr murphy is not the 100% behind palace person you think he is. eventually time will tell and everyone in football will know what type of guy he is. he is my friend and so i will not reveal exactly what he has done but you can all have your own guess" after this we asked him what does the future hold and he said "im not sure to be honest. i have had an offer from another premierleague club but ill see im not sure at this moment" finally we asked him do you hope palace stay up." yes of course i do i am fully behind what palace are trying to do and i do think they have a chance of staying up this year."

Forget him guys he was a terrible chairman anyway.. Whens the next update?

Rodgers Out, Hiddink In

"We are really sorry about Rodgers leaving the club but it was his choice to leave, he approached me saying that he was grateful for the chance to manage such a huge club but that due to other commitments he wanted to leave the club, we agreed to this and now we have another fantastic manager in charge of the club. We would like to wish Brendon all the best in the future."

When Questioned on the clubs performance and possible transfer business he said:

"We are starting to hit some form, we are still below where we should be but we can see improvement. Many of the player bought in Summer are hitting form with Olivier leading the line wonderfully up top. Yes there needs to be incomings in January the sale of Lucas was not ideal and we couldn't replace him with a player of suitable quality, so this is a position we are defiantly looking to improve aswell as a few other targets we have in mind. I think the fans will be happy if we get our targets."

Moyes Job Far from Safe

Reports from Old Trafford suggest that Moyes job is on the Line. A Top 4 Finish was the expectation at the beginning of the Season.
Currently Man Utd find themselves in a very dissapointing 9th spot but more importantly 5 points adrift of "Noisy Neighbours" Man City in 4th Spot.
Moyes will probably be given time till atleast January to turn things around and if they continue in the current position there might be changes at Old Trafford.

Live Press Conference

Q. How do you feel with Mr Slean's exit within the club?

A. To be honest I don't have any time for him. He's left Norwich once and left Palace and now returning to Norwich so I don't really care what he does anymore. I think he is just a mickey mouse chairmen who once called how he was treated at Norwich ''as a betrayal.'' I find it all a bit laughable.

Q. Will he affect your club in any way?

A. He didn't do anything so I don't see how he affect us in any way [laughing]

Q. Are you happy with how he left?

A. I said I honestly don't care. He can go to Norwich all he likes. He clearly likes to talk. He likes to create false rumors about me and Crystal Palace but the fans know we are in this together and if we are relegated then that's the way it will be but we will give it our best shot even if we are relegation favorites.

Q. Excited about December?

A. Of course. Then we're into January which I don't see being a busy month in terms of transfers. Let's hope for a few wins in December.

Q. You seem to be admitting relegation with your team?

A. Not particularly. I feel there ARE 19 better teams than us in the League but we will give it our best shot. I feel these 19 teams have the responsibility to finish above us but we will fight and battle to the end.

Can we sign players with contracts expiring on precontracts in January? And also have a couple of ideas for the transfer system to better reflect real life:
If a player has 1 year left you can sign him for his value regardless of his age, if he has 1/2 season left you can sign him immediately for half his value regardless his age, what do you think borne?

Will be releasing the next update tonight around 9pm!(this is due to borne's internet being a douche).

That will bring us to 1st January ;)

So, borne, are we to take it as the January window is open after the update tonight?

I would say do the chairman to chairman one as borne wont have to think about it until deadline day? Will you post everyones balances/projected balances so we can see to spend or not?

Vincent tan delighted with Cardiff

Reporter: so Vincent, how do you feel November went for Cardiff?

Tan: brilliantly,we played just 1 home game vs man city but still managed to get 5 points and 6 goals this month.

Reporter: against Fulham, you fought back twice, is this the kind of character your team needs to get out of trouble?

Tan: don't forget, we also had 10 men for 70 minutes away Against a great team with one of the best managers in the business so I'm very proud, possibly more proud than beating Southampton 3-1 comfortably in their own backyard. The 1-1 draw with Norwich was also a good result as Norwich away is never easy.

Planning to do my next press release after the next update just incase you guys thought I was inactive.

I agree with the pre contract idea but I don;t agree with if he has two seasons left you can sign him immediatel for half his value?! Are you crazy in that case you could get Rooney for 16m or so? Bad idea. A major suggestion I'd like to back as a relegation contender is I have players like Kebe Delaney and Gabbidon for example and I think they are nearly impossible to sell as no one wants them and they just sit on my wage bill and are never used. A suggestion would be could be sell them for even 75% of their value to a lower league team to save wage bill and create more space in our squads? :)

Ah didn't see that, thought he meant one or two seasons but even then his value is low enough as he will only have 6 months left so half of that will be practically nothing! I don't know leave it to borne to decide

1/2 doesn't mean 1 or 2 it was supposed to mean half, in which case it would be reasonable as teams do let players go for very cheap if they knew he was going for nothing at the the end of the season

I think it's a bad idea.
The value is already low/declined if a player only has 1 year or lower left on his contract.

Not enough though, Lewis holtby Tottenham for example cost them 1.5 million, his value then was closer to 10 million, hence why there is rumours of him leaving for 8m despite not doing as well as spurs expected and therefore being on loan at Fulham now.
