and joshymitsu I have said what skin it is a few times on this thread already so instead of posting such a useless comment, message me or show some interest in the thread mate.

With the 2014-2015 season wrapped up, being runners up was sweetened by the FA cup victory plus Europa League Semi Finalists is not a bad feat considering it was our first year in Europe. We all know the next season is going to be very difficult but with the right additions I think we can do it.

Jano Ananidze
had a very dissapointing season considering his £20M fee but I am very confident he will become gold once he properly finds his feet.

I was given a budget of £35M and I intended to use it.

Transfers

This was a fairly active window for us, I think we made some fantastic signins and did some very good business with the departures. Here is an overview of the transfers, once again we managed to buy whilst retaining a very healthy budget.

Major Ins

As you can see nearly all of what we spent was on 2 players, so I may aswell start with them.

Dave O'Connor (regen)
- £24.5M

View attachment 44574

I broke the bank for this central midfielder, by my oh my he is worth it. I saw he wasn't happy with Udinese so I swooped in quick. I am fully confident he will deliver, he has immense ability all across the board and I am sure he will become vital.

Jorge Garcia (regen) - £16M

View attachment 44567

I paid alot for this lad and it is a gamble but he strikes me as a quality player with a lot of potential and technical ability. He has been a bit of a journey man so far in his career so I think with some stability he will become a class act at the back for us.

Michael Potts - £925K

View attachment 44576

When I saw the young Englishman up for grabs I had to consider the fact he played for our title rivals but he has definate quality there that can be brought out. The fact he is English is a bonus, I think he can become a vital player for us with the right training.

Kyle Naughton
- £950K

View attachment 44563

The former Spurs right back's career has gone to **** since he left for Bayern but I saw this as a bargain much like the Potts deal. Kyle is a very good player and I think he will be very reliable when called upon.

Urby Emanuelson - Free

View attachment 44577

The 29 year old still has bags of quality and I think he can do the job down the left for us when needed. He has only signed a 1 year deal on a fairly low contract so if he fails he can leave fast.

The next bunch are lads I mainly brought in for the future, and obviously they are all regens.

David Hinz
- £1.7M

View attachment 44572

I paid alot for this guy but he has alot of quality and I hope he will become our future playmaker. He is very gifted technically so if (fingers crossed) the other aspects get better, he will turn out class.

Greg Roberts - Free

View attachment 44575

This lad was released but I thoght considering he was goalkeeper he might be worth taking on to see if he could potentially become decent.

Willem Koomen
- £850K

View attachment 44561

Another lad I brought in on the cheap, again he looks like he may well be good.

I brought a few others in but none are really stand out so I cant be bothered to show them.

Major Outs

Dirk Marcellis - £9.5M (Real Madrid) - Incredible, I signed him on a free he was a sub for us all season long and did very well but the fee we got was incredible. Negotiating skills come in handy again. He played 31 games for us in total.

Anthony Vanden Borre
- £8.25M (Man Utd) - Anthony was someone I signed in our first year in the Premiership and he has done a fantastic job for us here but once United came calling his head turned so once I was able to thrashout a deal worth far more than it should, it was an easy sale. He leaves having made 126 appearances for us scoring 12 goals.

Seamus Coleman - £5M (RC Lens) - This was the hardest decision to make. Seamus has been nothing but consistent and efficient since I got him on a free, even in Europe he did not look ot of place but once again I doubted how many first team opportunities he would get so I decided it best for him to leave. He played 131 games and scored 1 goal.

Tijani Belaid - £5M (Valencia) - Considering we signed him on a free this was another great deal for us. He did not impress me at all so I am happy to see the back of him, especially for 5M. He made 28 appearances for us scoring 1 goal.

Lars Stubhaug
- £3.3M (Newcastle) - It's with a very heavy heart I let this lad go. He was my very first signing and I have seen him turn into a top player (at international level). With the arrival of Stephen Henderson last season he struggled and it was time for him to go. A fantastic servant for us and he leaves having made 276 appearances. His efforts will be remembered.

Sebastian Rudy - Loan Free £1.1M (Bielefield) - Has been a very good player for us but I didn't see him coming into the team much this season so I felt it ws best to let him go for a year and see how he coped. He has been a great player for us so it may not be in the end even though it is likely. He played 85 games scoring 9 goals.

Here is the full first team squad:

I think it is very capable of achieving what is required this season. We have enough diversity in enough of the areas to trouble alot of teams. We have kept the core players and managed to bring in some real talent, although many will question some of the signings I know good they are, and I know they will deliver at this level.

Targets

Well it's quite simple really.

  1. Have a good FA Cup/Carling Cup run....or both
  2. Have a strong debutant season in the Champions League
  3. Win the ******* Premiership
sorry it has taken so long but I was away amongst other things. The first 2 months of the season will be posted tomorrow, I hope you have enjoyed the story so far.

This story sucks, one of the worst on the site.

Joking mate, wicked story, glad to see you updating again :)

Chucho is going to murder you another two times this year :D

Good to see it back mate :)

August

Man City were once again so strong last year and a good start is vital if we want to go one better than last season and to actually win the league which would be an incredible achievment. I think the squad here is very very good and more than capable of it. We are building our experience as we go along so we are only getting stronger.

Ouch, this hurt. Very humbling defeat in which we were 3-0 down under 20 minutes. The players looked like they hadnt even had pre-season. Terrible, but we will improve I can assure the fans of that. We play them again this month, it'll be different.

We were not good at all today but we pulled of a very dramatic victory.
Tomas Necid headed us ahead halfway through the second half, and I'll admit it wasn't deserving. We continued to play poor and they punished us with a very late equaliser 89 minutes in. I thought it was over til Rhys Murphy once again popped up a minute into extra time and cooly slotted it home to give us an incredible win.

Very tight game and a draw was probably fair. They had the better of the first half admittedly, but we were fantastic in the second period and should have won the game.
Tomas Necid smashed home the equaliser 36 minutes in unfortunately we didn't take the chances we created and that's a shame. Still a point here is not bad.

Another tough game in which we had to grind out the result. They didn't cause us many problems but we failed to cause their defence much harm either.
Jano Ananidze's 12th minute strike was the only difference between the sides. We can be compared to Mourinho's Chelsea with the way we play. Whatever it takes to win.

EPL -
Sunderland (Away)

Fantastic way to end the month. We dominated this right from the go thanks to
Tomas Necid's 5th minute header, they were lucky he wasn't more clinical today. Jano Ananidze was terrorising them all game and netted 42 minutes in and then again 4 minutes after the break. Fantastic brace for the Georgian.

August Overview

Despite our disastrous Community Shield loss the month was very pleasing. We won 3 and drew 1 in the league and that was away at Man City so I am happy we have managed to start so well, I really do feel it is vital. If we build ourselves the platform to perform then I'm sure we can really turn a few heads this year, and I mean that internationally.

Great start mate. Shame about the Community Sheild, but City seem to be the only team on the game that can consistenly put quick goals in. I'd imagine you'll run away with the league this season anyway, so that should be revenge enough.

Great story to the season mate. I am sure you will get the title this season

September

We had a very good opening to the season barring the Community Shield, we need to continue this momentum, no points can be dropped in these early periods. We need to build a platform for ourselves and we did that in Augst, we need to show everyone we mean business, again.

Again we were not great today but we've dug in deep and pulled out a good win.
Tomas Necid scored the only goal of the game 8 minutes in. We failed to create much but we were better than them and we deserve the win...just about.

This was not easy by any means. They matched us throughout the entire game and it was difficult to break them down. Thankfully 12 minutes into the second half
Michael Potts broke through and netted his fist goal for the club to give us another 1-0 win.

Our first Champions League game nd we were poor today. They came out and parked the bus and we didn't look like we had any answers which was dissapointing. If we want to progress in this competition we need to improve and establish ourselves within the matches.

League Cup 3rd Round -

I fully expected to win this one and the lads delivered.
Dave O'Connor netted his first goal for the club 24 minutes in to give us the lead before Michael Potts scored just 3 minutes later to kill off the game. Safely through.

EPL -
Chelsea (Away)

It's always hard coming to Chelsea but
Javi Garcia left us in the lurch by getting sent off just 5 minutes into the game. Amazingly Vincenzo Rennella put us ahead 3 minutes later and we held on for awhile before they equalised with 20 minutes to go. Still an away point with 10 men is not a bad result here.

Champions League Group H Fixture 2 -
Germinal Beerschot (Away)

We got our Champions League campaign up and running with an expected victory here.
Ananidze set us up on our way 4 minutes in and it was easy after that. They rarely threatened and when they did it was usually fruitless. Jeremy Helan slammed home a penalty to seal one minute into stoppage time.

September Overview

We are slowly hitting into form and I am pleased with the effort shown this month. We got 7 points from the 3 league games, we are doing well in the Champions League and we are safely through to the 4th round of the Carling Cup. Everything is running smoothly right now and we need to maintain it.

Doing well at the top of the table.
