Couldnt you just untick "allow transfer budgets in the first window" or whatever it says then they cant buy no one in the first window.

I take it this will be more than 1 season, so this would only work for the first transfer window, so in January, everybody can move again

Just add managers, tick 'do not buy anyone' and 'do not sell anyone' and add chosen managers as assistant managers. The only problem could possibly be your *** man gets poached, so maybe edit so they are 20 for assistant manager position and 1 as managers?

I should be able to keep on top of everything, by holidaying for 1 month periods, subscribing to everyone and using the RTE to change things back if needs must.
