of to madrid in jan my bet more cash for tevez
I think the wages that were reported were grossly inflated, same way people were saying rooney is on 250kEven i didnt believe that, but City made a statement that Tevez is their top earner and we know Yaya is on massive wages. Not sure what to make of it.

of course, and the higher figure is always the most interesting one for them.Fine. Player's wages are always debatable as we have to rely only on **** media for everything.
The big difference is the relationship between the managers. Ferguson and Rooney have a strong relationship. Tevez and Mancini dont, which will make the latter's job much harderAnd Who ever said, Money Meant you kept hold of players... This will test City, United managed to keep hold of Wayne... We City do the same with Carlos. There high fees mean nothing if there not big enough to hold onto there best player...

Not much more on this apart from the fact that City blame this solely on Tevez's agent
Word from those up high, is that we're trying to spin this as a "Carlos is great but his agent is a ****", hoping that it leads to a turnaround.
The board is really taking a stand on this one. There's talk of putting him in the reserves for the remainder of his contract unless he apologises to the squad and manager. This is bigger than just Carlos, and he'll be made an example of.
I want to know what he intends to do. If he wants to go back home, no club in Argentina has the money to buy him or pay his wages. Only way out I can see is if he buys out his own contract.

yeah ive seen reports of that too. There seems to be a lot brinkmanshsip going on. Risky from Tevez, its not as if Shiekh Mansour hasnt got the money to try and dig up a replacement (assuming this isnt about homesickness)Well as much as we can blame on Agents, the players are the one who have the final say. Yes Agents are just unwanted distraction in the world of football, but being professionals they players should know better.
This is what local city fan said on this issue,

Or Retires From Football.....
But presumably City will look for some kind of compensation if that happens.
Can they?
Not sure. City wanting compensation and city recieving compensation are two different things.
yeah they are separated and its apparently next to impossibleI read an interesting interview from a finnish sports magazine about Tevez a few months back. The "punchline" was something like "Carlos Tevez, 26, is tired of professional football. Does it tell something about him or modern football in general?" In the interview Tevez clearly states he hasn't hidden the fact he wants away from England and professional football, and is only there for the crowd and the money. He also says he's tired both physically and mentally cause of the hectic fixtures and can't get a break, and will retire no later than age 28.
So anyhow I was waiting for this to happen next summer but wanting away in january is a bit of a suprise. Though if he's retiring anyway maybe he doesn't care about bringing success to City, which ofcourse sucks for the fans he's said he's playing for.. I think Mancini gambled a bit naming Tevez as captain and it is now backfiring.
And btw about bringing his family to England. He's divorced and the kids live with his ex so maybe it's impossible.
