I hope this idiot never gets a good club, go back to argentina and enjoy life in Boca Juniors and never get a call for the Argentina national team. Always acting like a ****.

Just let the Man go FFS, He wants his family cant they see that ? :S however why leave your family in the first place?

Lots of footballers will miss their families, if Tevez wants to call it a day and go back to his family in Argentina that is fair enough, however he's been in England with three different clubs and has had time to settle and work things out. If he was so concerned why didn't he go from Manchester United to Boca rather than to Manchester City in the first place?

He didn't. His family were in England, and his estranged wife took the kids back to Argentina when rumours were flying about regarding Tevez' affair.

apparently his relationship with certain city individuals has broken down beyond all repair.

is this on sky sports?

I will leave City, insists Tevez

Carlos Tevez insists he will leave Manchester City because his relations with "certain executives" at the club have "broken down beyond repair".

merging to other thread.

is this on sky sports by any chance?

The player rules supreme nowadays, if he wants to go, he'll get what he wants in the end. Even though he's under contract there.

player gets the final say, as a chelsea perspective i say good riddence if he leaves the country.

It's his own petulance. (sp)

He's earning more than the majority of many could earn in a year, per week, and is now saying all sorts in the media.

what a ****.
He;s one of the highest paid players in the world and he thinks he can just leave.
player power now is ridiculous.

no, he said he wants to leave, who said the club will let him go, its not like they havent got the money to make him sit in the reserves and buy a replacement, not that im fussed either way

If you read his statement, he says it's not about money and he's turned down an improved offer from the club and an extra bonus to stay for the rest of the year. So money is nothing to do with it.

He has problems with other players and with officials at the club (although he made clear it wasn't Mancini) and he just wants to leave Manchester City.

Don't see how that makes him a ****.

I hope he leaves Manchester City for someone like Bayern to be honest, just cause it will be funny to see Joe's Reaction...

That one backfired didn't it Garry Cook? Mug.

"Since signing for Manchester city, I have enjoyed playing for the supporters. They have welcomed me to the club and I regret that it has come to this.
They deserve success as reward for their passionate and patient support. The club is very fortunate to have supporters like these. Anybody who has watched me play for Manchester City cannot question my commitment and passion for the club whenever I have worn the shirt.
However, I can confirm I have handed a transfer request to the chairman of Manchester City Football Club. Now I need to clear my head and think because this is an important part of my career. My feelings have not changed and it is regrettable we have reached this situation but It is something I have felt for some time and have spent many hours thinking this through.
I wanted to leave in the summer, but was convinced to return to the club. Sadly, my feelings have not changed. I hugely resent the management's suggestions that I have been unduly influenced by others. I am disappointed that the management should now see fit to try to portray the situation in another light.
My relationship with certain executives and individuals at the club has broken down and is now beyond repair. I do not wish to expand on this at this stage. They know, because I have told them. I wish to clarify that I have no personal issue with the manager Roberto Mancini.
I could have signed an improved contract, offered by the club during this season; however this decision is not about money. I have made that clear to both the board and the management on several occasions. The owner has been very generous with what he has offered to me. I would like to thank Sheik Mansour for his understanding and support.
I want to thank the supporters for making me welcome at Manchester City and hope they agree I have given my all for the club on the pitch."

Carlos Tevez's statement.
