The first Chelsea match I went to was a qualifier again MSK Zilina, which Chelsea won 3-0. Robert Huth scored his first Chelsea goal. Good old days ^^)

Quite complicated. Something to do with UEFA co-efficient points.

Because you get points for your performances in Europe and Madrid's have pretty poor for a few seasons, whereas Arsenal and United always have done well.
