Chelsea 3 - 0 Fulham

Chelsea beat their West London rivals today convincingly with a 3-0 win at Stamford Bridge. It was a game Chelsea needed to win after their recent poor form, and the players certainly gave their all.

Within minutes Chelsea were in the lead when Rodwell, substituting for the injured Ricardo Carvalho rose above John Pantsil to head in Yury Zhirkov's corner to make it 1-0.

And 2 minutes later, Gourcuffs long ball found Nicolas Anelka who teed himself up before releasing a scorcher into the back of the net, leaving Mark Schwarzer with no chance.

Fulham tried to make chances, their main playmaker Danny Murphy constantly outwitting Ivanovic with some lovely through balls, but strikers Johnson and Dembele lacked the finishing touch that may have brought Fulham back into the game.

And it cost them in the second half as Chelsea scored another. Kalou's brilliant cross found Sanchez, whos shot deflected and landed at Bosingwa who slammed it into the bottom corner to give Chelsea a deserved cushion.

It was a good team performance from Chelsea today, and it was also good to see two new scorers on the team sheet in Rodwell and Bosingwa.

Loving the story man.
How old is Cech now though? You thought about replacing? Or can he still get the job done.
=]

Yeah I think so, the video has to be in Windows Movie Maker format. Plus using that you can actually put the 30 seconds clips together to do a montage which I was planning on doing. Its really easy. If you dont have movie maker download it from microsoft website. And on it import video and go to where your recorded clips are. Add it to storyboard and off you go, publish it to desktop then upload it to youtube, took me 3 mins max for my 30 sec video.

Or it could be that my video I did my match in 2D and you did it in 3D, it probably dosent make a difference but thats the only other reason I could think of. Ill try both later on if I can get on FM and tell you.

Oh yeah nice result against Fulham, the drog is still going strong!

cheers matiosso :). he's only 28 though so I'm more than happy to keep him for the time being. he is inconsistent at times, but most of the time he is a world class keeper, and I've got matej delac as his replacement lined up, cos he looks awesome. so not worried bout bringin in someone like asenjo, lloris or akinfeev. not worth the money.
and shootie, the drog didn't score ha :P in fact he's been absolute ***** this season, but it was still a cracking victory gainst Fulham.
yeah if you could try that o ut mate, that'd be great and then get back to me. does it matter that I only have xp?

Portsmouth 2 - 2 Chelsea

Chelsea will be distraught in the manner of which they drew this game today, after having a 2-0 lead reduced in a very short space of time.

The Blues looked good in the first half an hour, and got themselves an opening goal when Gourcuff's little chip found Anelka in space, and he volleyed past a stranded James.

And not long later, Chelsea were 2 goals to the good, as Frank Lampard slid home a wonderful Sanchez cross to give them what looked like a very comfortable lead.

But the decision by the Chelsea manager to replace Kalou with Mattock after 70 minutes proved decisive, as he was torn apart by John Utaka.

In the 83rd minute, Utaka outpaced Mattock to get a great cross in, but Rodwell was easily beaten in the air by Nadir Belhadj, not exactly an infamous aerial threat, and Chelsea had their lead halved.

And in the 93rd minute, Diop smashed the ball in from 30 yards to seal a draw that you just felt was coming when they conceded that first goal.

Despite being 5 points away from 3rd still, they are now 7 points away from Manchester City which will no doubt be very demoralising.

I've read all of this and i'm going to be following it.
You seem to have a lot of followers if only my story was the same. :@

ahhh can anyone help me..
it says save game cannot be loaded :'(
don't tell me this is the end of my story.

not sure tbh, you wouldn´t happen to have a backup save of the file by any chance? Not even sure about the reason for something like that happening, only thing i can think of is if the game/pc crashes while you´re saving and thus corrupting the save data. That´s quite gutting :S

the file's probably corrupted and im doubt there's any solution to revive it. however, if you enabled rolling autosave you would have a backup with the name of " 'your game' V2". it cost me 4 games to realise the importance of having backups.

oh this is shiittt. last time I played it, I saved it, waited until it was saved, then turned off my computer at the wall. but the game had already "
i think i might cry.

me too,but it u did another story like this on i would defo follow it as i am sure alot of ppl will , but i hope u can get it working again

I regret to announce that this story will be discontinued forthwith. The game file became corrupt and I have lost too much of the game to conetemplate re-starting. I would like to thank everyone for reading it and hopefully if I do manage to create a new story in the future, it will be similarly popular and (hopefully) interesting. I'd like to give special thanks to dan, shootie, leedsunited1987, max, phil06 and chelseafan11for following throughout the entirety of this story, although that doesn't mean that I don't appreciate the input of all you other readers!
Sam.

thanks and i am gutted for u as we could see how much effort you put in to ur story..... y don't u try a peterbrough story that i wll be fun, but i will follow any story u decide to do next

yeahh I may do.. although peterborough are **** :P we sacked mark cooper today, it's abysmal :| I plan on at least doing something with a challenge.. last year I managed to get afc wimbledon to the championship on 09, but so far I've not managed to get into a non-league game so I may do that.. I'll come up with something anyway. but appreciate your comments :)

i am really gutted for you and hopefully if we do a story we will be succesful

real shame that this story has come to an end under such circumstances :( . Was a good read and one of the best story layouts on the forum. Would be great if you´d decide to make another one in the future mate.

Cheers for the mention mate, pity my tactic didnt work that time against Inter. I really liked the layout and the effort you put into this, and for the game to screw up like that is just taking the ****. And ive appriciated that you always followed my story aswell, even in the times nobody even looked at it lol.

Maybe you could try a really challenging story like I am planning to do after I complete TAOF. Maybe something like Burnley or Wolves.
