Competition: Barclays Premier League
Chelsea Team News:
Against Everton and Copenhagen Chelsea played 4-4-2 with wide players Ramires and Malouda actually more often than not tucked in to the central area. If the same system is used in midfield against a Manchester United side deployed in a 4-5-1 system, the London Mayor may care to revise his decision to remove west London from the congestion zone.
Carlo Ancelotti may decide to change his shape with more personnel available notably impressive newcomer David Luíz in defence. But equally he may retain the winning formula, despite the fact that FCK did have several shots on goal. After two successive blanks in the league, the Blues will be eager to strike an early blow in this high-profile match-up. The Italian manager, though, will be aware his team need to attack United with vastly more pace than Wigan and Marseille attempted.
Fernando Torres has shown recent signs of a potential return to form but will be eager to open his Stamford Bridge account.
Then there is Didier Drogba and/or Nicolas Anelka versus Jonny Evans or Chris Smalling (Rio Ferdinand is ruled out). It is often a meeting settled by big personalities: Drogba and skipper John Terry scored Chelsea's two winners in last season's league encounters.
Manchester United Team News:
Despite their successful season, United's midfield has occasionally lacked in style this campaign, but this has been more than matched by a steely drive and determination that has seen them lose just once this season. While Rooney has yet to hit his best form, the likes of Nani, Berbatov and Hernandez have flourished, with the Rafael and Smalling turning their potential into performances of real abiliity, while the evergreen Scholes the focus of the Red Devils' dynamism and incisiveness.
They come into the game off the back of a fairly even but ultimately comfortable 4-0 performance at the DW Stadium, with the side clicking into gear in the second half with some incisive passing.
Defensively, Vidic has been imperious and Smalling has shown himself to be a more than able deputy for Rio Ferdinand, playing with a confidence and composure that is in contrast to his lack of experience.
Much has been made of United's away form, though it should be noted that they have picked up more points on their travels that their opponents and remain very tough to beat, with one one defeat, though they will be looking to build on the DW victory and turn more of those draw into wins

Days Since:
Chelsea lost to United at Stamford Bridge: 3,237
Man United lost a Premier League game in London: 437
Arsenal won a trophy: 2,110
Liverpool won a trophy: 1,744
My take on the game?:
Im not sure what Ancelotti will do in regards to the tactics, does he stick with the flat 4-4-2 or used the tried and tested 4-3-3 or even somthing else? Will he go with one or two of Torres, Drogba or Anelka?? I think he may keep the flat 4-2-2 and stick with Torres and Anelka upfront leaving Drogba on the bench again, using the old motto "if its not broke don't fix it".
Although Utd havent been flattering away from home they seem to grind out draws and Fergie would love to take a point back to Manchester but i dont think that helps Chelsea.
If we go with a side that lines up somthing like Cech, Ivanovic, Terry, Luiz, Cole, Essien, Lampard, Ramires, Malouda, Anelka and Torres then i can see us winning the game. The game for me will be a usual Chelsea - Utd tie, very tight and i think it will be decided by one goal.
So for me im going for a 1-0 Chelsea win and Fernando Torres to score the goal. Chelsea need the win more than Utd and a defeat for Chelsea would be more damaging than a defeat for Utd.
