Usually reserves champions means noting.. All better player will be out on loan.

We had King, Matt James, Welbeck, Macheda, De Laet, Drinkwater all out on loan.

Tell that to the players who win it!!!

I wouldn't say Drinkwater is one of the better players. He struggled to get into the Watford side this season and when he played he was pretty poor.

I mean good enough for reserves league..

On topic though, for the reasons i explained i dont think reserves league is something to be very proud of or is a yardstick to measure how good young players are..

I think no.

Hence these games are used to build match fitness for fringe players or player who was out for long..
