I thought it'd be pretty obvious by looking at the roles, rather than just the formation, that this wouldn't be a defensively solid tactic (at least when you aren't a very, very top team)? Two very attacking full backs, two midfielders who are going to press high up the pitch (so no help for the two CBs), and then the rest of the midfield on attack.

When it works, it's a blast, but in my opinion this tactic relies too much on the quality of the defensive midfielders (which had to be absolutely good at both the defensive mentality and with ball playing) and highly disciplined pair of mobile center backs for it not to be a complete counter fodder. Unless proven otherwise, I suspect the results on the screenshots he provided had more to do with the possibly top-tier qualities of his regens than the merit of the tactic itself.
