Holy christ! They have signed nearly everyone they loaned last season, and I have to say Pepe (for around £7m) and Quagliarella (for around £10m) is quite a coup. I don't think they need these players, though, and splashing out could be a mistake.

Joaquin become Malaga's seventh signing for next season, after Diego Buonanotte, Martin Demichelis, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Nacho Monreal, Jeremy Toulalan and Joris Mathijsen.

I think they really mean business. They're building quite a squad there!
Malaga are the new Man City, with Toulalan, Joaquin, Van Nisterooy, etc. Vicente on a free, anyone?

That's a pretty poor signing, I think, despite not watching him play before. You can tell from the manner and his history that he isn't great, especially from rivals Bournemouth. He got loaned to some poor teams and plays for Bournemouth, so I doubt he is very good. However, Pompey need some new players and a signing is always a good sign of improvement.

Where all 4 not co-owned and therefore not loaned last season?

To be fair, from all ive seen from this guy last year he was very good and one of the main reasons why Bournemouth had a solid season.. and at only 22.

True, the main reason he was re-signed is because of the 50% sell-on clause he had in his contract. So were able to buy him on the cheap. Agreed, he is not a very good player, but it will add to the very thin squad we have.

Tbh any signing for Portsmouth would be good under the current circumstances, feel really sorry for them, its seem like only yesterday that they pulled of that epic FA Cup triumph

Make no mistake, Adam Rooney will shine in the Championship for Birmingham, watch this space.

Dont get me wrong, if you are right i will be ecstatic.

my view is to remain positive on any potential transfers, you support a team for a reason, to remain loyal, and Chris Hughton knows what he's doing!!

i will give the lad more than a chance, and he cant do any worse than Cameron anyway :$
