I'm FC United of Manchester in the Premier League in 2024. Just smashed Vannes in a friendly 15-0 with 54-0 shots.
When I play against world class teams like Man United,Chelsea,Man City etc should I still play attacking or change to something else? For home and away please.

I'm using the instant result tactic.

Depends, how good are they in 2024 in your save? If your team is better than them, then stick to attacking but if not or you want to play safe, then play Control.

Playing with Conqueror v5, all matches in extended highlight mode (except pre-season warm-up matches). Extended mode gives me enough time to gauge and adjust as I find that necessary to gain optimal results. Last time I played FM (11 or 12 I think) I learned that you always have to find the right pressure level to get the tactic to work - height of defensive line, and line and intensity of pressure. I see people complaining that the Conqueror or Sunfire isn't that great away against better teams. That's because the 'Control' setting is far too ambitious, it leaves you wide open to their speed and pressure and they will cut through your team like a hot knife in cheese. So when starting away matches against equal or better teams I always start with 'Counter'. If they still dominate you massively I turn down to 'Defensive'. And it will also be necessary to adjust as the match goes on. Even against slightly weaker teams in home-matches - if I get a two goal lead they will adjust their pressure and I must follow, for instance turning down from 'Control' to 'Standard' or 'Counter'. Or else you risk them scoring a silly goal even if you lead chance stats by 25-2 or something.

I find it useful to follow the 'last 5 min' % bars of Action Zones in the center pop-up window when the game rolls on between highlights. I watch their % in my third and my % in their third to get an idea of how things are going and to see if I have to adjust.

I just played away to ManU in CL and got my *** kicked as usual. I started the game as 'Defensive" and still was getting dominated. What do you do then?
 
Well, this is my half season...boring to play league... average stats are 30:1 shots on goal, and average I winn about 4:0, sometimes it is 7:0, sometimes just 2:0...

so question for TFF, can u make some kind of Conqueror, that will be situated for dominating team in the league???

I mean, this tactic works great, but it is too careful for strong teams.

What I mean, is to create one full atacking version that would bring wins more than 4:0 in average. There is no need to play careful in the league that my goal diference after 20 matches is 75:3... I better like to win 9:2, than 4:0...if u understand what I mean....

Sorry for asking for this, but this could be chalange for u TFF :)

PS. I know that is not gonna be situated tactic for some strong league, where u are 10 or 20 % stronger than other teams, but it could be effective when u are 50 % better than all other teams...
 
what is the best version in your opinion??

Just one lost game in in 62 matches 55w 5D 1loss in all competitons, against Fenerbahche, i was leading 3:0 at the half time, mu GK was injured, and I have put Romero DMC as GK, final result was 3:4...stupid but it hapends...

I was very sceptic about final 3 of 4 Strikes were injured (last one day before match, food poisoning?!?!) Left Beck also injured, and MC...But it was easy final, Totenham havent had a chance whole game...

All credits to TFF, After just 3 years Partizan has become one of 4 best clubs in the World, and finaly the best one!
About league, 3 seasons without loss, more than 100 matches...boring..

All that with just one world star player Ozil, on free transfer (31-32 year old, but he was what I needed to win CL)
 
I finally won the league with Millwall using version 2 then 6, Only thing is I nearly threw it away in the last 7/8 games how can this be avoided, because this has happened to me in other saves.View attachment 167812
