At long last some relief for the wide areas of the pitch. Kinsley Coman arrives from PSG for a fee that will reach £34 million but is in fact £24 mil up front and then instalments. While this is a lot of money, the lad is still young at 24 and has a huge deal of pedigree having already played for PSG, Bayern and Juventus along with his 36 caps for the French national side. He can play naturally on both sides of the pitch but will mainly provide competition for Lucas on the right as a winger which he is ideally suited to playing with his lightning acceleration, flair and technique. His arrival at the club means the end of Villalbas loan deal who made just 5 appearances for the club.

Glad to see you doing extremely well, also really good signing with Coman, he should be an excellent addition to your squad!

Nice win against City my friend ! And very good deal with Koman a consider him as a top quality player!

A truly wonderful performance from a side that is hitting the top of its game. Dele Alli and Martial combined twice to give us a two goal lead early on before Martial netted his second of the game to make it three. Young left back Ron Whiteman then scored one of those lofted crosses that the goalkeeper misjudges to wrap thing up nicely and continue our fantastic form.

I am so proud of the lads after this one. Following big games against Tottenham and City it was always going to be a bit of a struggle to motivate ourselves for the visit of bottom club Wolves, but the lads did with consummate ease, helped on by an Anthony Martial hatrick who seems to have found his scoring touch again. A good result was turned into a great day by the comeback of Gareth Bale who played the last 25 minutes without any issues. Bale however is going to have to wait to get his place in the side back as Ozil has been fantastic on the left.

January Review

All those green dots, what a sight. An absolutely perfect month as we progress twice in the FA Cup and continue our Premier League charge. That is now 9 straight wins in all competitions and 16 games undefeated overall.

Manchester United have been like an unstoppable train this season but with a couple of games in hand and a fixture against United to come, the title is still in our hands. Chelsea have been appalling this season and find themselves down in 12th and a mile away from any kind of European qualification, while Aston Villa have been surpassing all expectations.

Player of the Month

8 goals this month for Anthony Martial have seen him return to his best and he could yet fire us to plenty of trophies this season.

February Preview

The stand out games this month are Liverpool in the league and Atletico in the Champions League.

We had Liverpool undone inside the first 10 minutes and with the first two efforts of the match. First Anthony Martial pulled off a stunning header into the far corner of the net and then Mesut Ozil stooped onto a Calum Chambers cross to make it two. This is now 20 matches in a row without defeat and 10 wins in a row in all competitions as we close the gap to United.

Gutting, especially after the Liverpool performance. We played quite well in all honesty but an early penalty for West Ham saw them defend like daemons and they capitalised fully on Eric Diers mistake. We went close a couple of times and Gareth Bale hit the bar, but we fell short. Fortunately United lost as well to bottom club Wolves, meaning we didnt lose any ground. City however closed the gap behind us to three points as Guardiola leads the revival.

All of a sudden we are starting to make individual errors at the back. Last week it was Dier giving away a penalty, this week Chambers scored an unfortunate own goal. Thankfully Kinglsey Coman chose a superb time to net his first goal for the club but it wasnt enough to mount a come back and we had to settle for a point. Not the result we wanted with our game in hand.
