My apologies, it's because I was doing squad numbers, and he prefers 21 so it was in my head.. :)(A)

Very good month in my opinion. Excellent draw against Man Utd where they were lucky to draw even though they took the lead. We were in control for most of the game and never really looked liked losing the game against the champions of England. However the defeat against Liverpool took away the momentum we had in the month although we did start to rebuild that towards the end of the month especially against Tottenham. We were excellent against Liverpool and the 3-0 scoreline flattered them, but that's football and I look forward to the following month.

Fantastic month for the club apart from our premature exit from the league cup. We were unfortunate enough to be drawn against Liverpool (1 of only 2 teams to have beaten us this season) and while they had striker problems, meant they had to play Torres, adding to our misery. But we were strong and unlucky once again to lose and once the again the scoreline flattered them. But that's enough on the one negative of the month, we were in fine goalscoring form, with my strikers beginning to find the back of the net on a more regular basis. Very pleased with this month and looking forward to November :)

First game of the season and I wasn't sure how the team would gel but they managed to confidently beat a good sunderland side.

View attachment 37189
Not a great performance although the away goal was crucial

View attachment 37190
Very good comback from the guys and deserved the point. Murphy was amazing in the second half although Palermo was worryingly quiet.

View attachment 37191
A comfortable victory where we showed our class. A sign of things to come?

View attachment 37192
It was never going to be easy, especially away from home and we did create some good chances although they just didn't have their finishing boots on :(

PSV should provide good competition but I expect us to go through to the next stage comfortably.

Dunno, only a few games in though lads, I'm sure everything will be sorted with the world soon enough.. lol

gignac is quality scored 39 goals in something like 36 games for my rangers team in third season

September Update

Good solid performance to start the month :)

View attachment 37246
Started well although a defensive error allowed Blackburn back into the game but managed to hold on

View attachment 37247
Didn't really deserve to lose 2-0. We had chances and PSV weren't very dominant.

View attachment 37248
Very frustrating to let Burnley back into the game. Told the players what I thought of their 2nd half performance.

View attachment 37249
Annoyed to concede late but looking back its a good result.

View attachment 37250
Not a particularly fantastic performance but a much needed win to stay on track :)

View attachment 37251
Excluding Burnley result it was a pretty good month.

October 2009 Update

View attachment 37356
Didn't really deserve to score so many but our players were just more clinical :)

View attachment 37357
Good performance, especially as it was away from home

View attachment 37358
This win puts us in a good position to reach the next stage of the competition

View attachment 37359
We were totally dominated, outplayed and taken apart by the inform wolves team but Federico Vilar deservedly picked up the MOTM award

View attachment 37360
Through to the next stage of Carling cup. Not a mind-blowing performance.

View attachment 37361
A very dull game. The only thing which was interesting was the weather. 23 in late October!

View attachment 37362
Doing really well. Superb month but a few hard games coming up next month

Good month mate :)

I refuse to comment on the first match :'(

Singh reportedly interested in 2 Centre-backs. Joseph Yobo was on Singh's radar and we understand he may be trying to sign him to improve the weak defence. No information has yet been discovered about the second defender.

Excellent month for us as we didn't lose and scored plenty of goals. We were excellent all month, with the only disappointing performance coming against Wolves where if I'm honest we were lucky to get a draw. But we are unbeaten in 8 games now in the league and I'm looking forward to December where we can show how dangerous we can be.

Basically secures our route to the next round of the competition :) Good performance

View attachment 37410
Disappointing result although the good form had to end sooner or later

View attachment 37411
1-0 isn't too bad. They dominated most of the match and we didn't create many good chances

View attachment 37412
Quite a good result. Spurs were on good run of form so pleased to get a point

View attachment 37413
Not the best of months really :S We've lost Gilberto Silva & Krasic for 3 months and 4 months respectively which will really effect the team :( Danny Murphy returning soon which is at least one positive
