At this stage of the campaign so far, we had already established this game as a must win. After 4 games we were sitting 2 points behind the early pace setters, and the early pace setters were? Yes, Rostov. Despite the good start to the season, we went into the game as odds on favourites and looked to take the game to them straight away. How did we get on?...

A good result, again we continued our unbeaten run against one of our main rivals so for me it was nice to see the supporters celebrating at the final whistle.

1st-4th at the start of play and it was vital that we won. I am delighted that we showed battling spirit to come out with a victory that we fully deserved.

As you can see we are still unbeaten so far this season, this has been very pleasing for me as there is also a lot of room for improvement.We have a big month coming up against the likes of Spartak, Dinamo and Lokomotiv Moscow and also Amkar.

A really disappointing month for us, this was the month where we were intending to pull away at the top of the table but I guess it was not meant to be.

We were unfortunate to draw this game as we were dominant for sustained periods and it was only for a lucky penalty late on in the game. If we had won this game, against our biggest rivals, I think that the month would have panned out a bit differently.

Again, very disappointing because we conceded a goal in the last 10 minutes. This was a game we really had to see out and gain a valuable 3 points.

Thoroughly deserved, despite the win I am still not happy with the teams performance. We seem to be conceding too many sloppy goals and from the sidelines it is very frustrating to watch. But the 3 points was the most important thing.

Absolutely fuming with this display and I ensured that the players were aware of my annoyance. If I said that I hadn't seen a result like this coming I would have been lying. Now the most important thing is to pick ourselves up and bounce back with a good string of results in June.

After this month, despite dropping 7 points we are only 3 points off of top so I have to be happy with that. The fact that this is my first stint managing in Russia now is showing, we struggled this month and the sooner we can invest in new players the better.

A game against a struggling side in our league, again the win was critical and I would have liked us to have won by more but at the end of the day 3 points is 3 points. Although with the title race being as close as it is, goal difference come the end of the season could be crucial.

Good result against a team who are actually a very poor side. The only downside was the fact that we conceded first but I am glad that in the end our quality prevailed.

As you can see this league is still ridiculously close with any one of four teams more than capable of winning this. After around 6 games when Saturn were 2nd I didn't think that they were capable of sustaining their good form, especially with a media prediction of a 7th place finish. Hopefully they will falter when the pressure builds.
