AKINFEEV SIGNS NEW CONTRACT!!​

Against all odds today, CSKA keeper Igor Akinfeev has signed a new contract. He stated that the main reason behind this was how far Whitehouse has taken the club in the last 12 months and that he felt that the manager matched his ambitions. He felt that the club was capable of big things with Whitehouse at the helm. This brilliant news for CSKA Moscow fans will put a lot of hearts at rest.​


Whitehouse today told the gathering media that ''I was always 100% confident that Igor would stay with us, he has shown his true colours today. He has signed a contract that will take him to 2014 worth £2.2million a year, this is the start of even bigger things for us. Come the summer you will all be stunned with what plans we have'' And on that note, Whitehouse mischievously said interview over, and strolled out leaving journalists all pondering on what he meant.​
 
can you post a screenshot of the top scorers in russia and maybe some league tables in other leagues.
 
Sorry man, only loaded up English leagues as my laptop is *****. But I'll put up the top scorers in the next update for you.

AUGUST UPDATE

Going into this month we were in brilliant form and with some tough games ahead of us, it was vital that we continued this heading into the tail end of the season.

I am somewhat disappointed by this result to be honest, we were arguably the better side, but fair play to Rubin they ground out the result. I was never going to win every game so in the long run this could prove to be a good thing to avoid complacency in the side.

After the Rubin defeat, it was crucial that we bounced back and weren't too disheartened by the loss. What a result it was, especially with Parkhead never being an easy place to go with the likes of AC Milan losing there in recent seasons - We always looked comfortable and it has further strengthened my claim that we will qualify from this group.

What a result, quite frankly I would have been disappointed if we didn't win this comfortably as this is a poor side who will probably get relegated at the end of the season. Nevertheless, was still a good win and I am proud of the side.

A huge victory for us, this kept our lead at the top of the table at 9 points and the players now do look like a team playing at the top of their games who look like they will win the league.

Despite our other wins this month, this has to be one of the most important. It was extremely important that we won this game to get some distance between us and AEK, boy did we deliver. I am very happy with how the Champions League group is shaping up, next up is a double header against Madrid. ECL table below.

It is looking good! 5 more wins and the title is guaranteed but I think 10 more points and we have it to be honest. There are 24 points available and if we get 18 we get a new league record. We look like smashing all sorts of records this season!!

The top scorers chart that was requested by MrMcTomato - We have a lot of scorers in these charts and I can only be happy about it :P A big update coming up next time, including the results in the big Madrid double header. And will we win the league? All these questions, all the answers coming up soon.​

Nope no minimum release fee :D And all this for £42,500 a week!! My ''plans'' will be whacked up soon, in a couple of updates time - Will definitely strengthen the side no end though.



Next update will be on tonight featuring:

- Next 5 league games, will we win the league in this time?
- Madrid Champions League double header, will we cause a stir?
- More importantly, will we even qualify from thr group stage?

All of the above, and more, to be revealed later on. Stick around ;)

**** lads, I don't want to have to do this but yet again my unreliable charger is up the blink. Last time I got it repaired it was sent off a few weeks ago but every time it breaks/gets repaired it obviously gets weaker. So there will be no update tonight I am afraid, really sorry lads. I am going to send my brother to the charger shop tomorrow to try and get a new one, if they dont I'll get it repaired. But either way the update now moves to tomorrow :( And Dan thanks for the luck, lets put it this way - I have played the first leg and they are a seriously good side...
