Thanks mate, although with my injuries I didn't think I would be able to do it! Glad you like it :)

No more updates tonight, first update tomorrow will be at about 1pm when I wake up <)

Congrats on your first piece of silverware, judging by your current league position it won't be the last!;)

Second piece of silverware, won the league first season ;) Thanks for the support though mate, appreciate it.

Sorry mate, meant to say first piece of silverware this season! I was paying attention honest!!

Haha that's fine mate. The aim is to get the league as well and at least a quarter final champions league place - I still need to strengthen the team though, with Russian players as well.

AKINFEEV TO BUY ONE WAY TICKET OUT OF RUSSIA?

In alarming news which will disturb CSKA Moscow fans today, the media have recently grasped news that ''Mr CSKA'' may be on his way out of Russia after refusing to sign a new contract therefore increasing speculation that Bayern Munchen manager Louis Van Gaal is preparing a raid to ****** the Russian #1.

Whitehouse has however informed CSKA fans not to worry and that the club do match Akinfeev's ambitions and do want to become a major player in world football. ''Igor is definitely someone we want to stay here, I personally will be having talks with him over the coming weeks in the hope that he is persuaded to stay, this is definitely where my man management and motivation skills will come into play''

Unlucky in champo league. Well done in the league though, keep it up :)

Thanks mate, yeah the Champions League is definitely the main aim.

CSKA MOVE HOME!!

The CSKA Board have today announced that the building work for the new stadium has officially been completed dated 30.6.10. CSKA were recently stadium sharing with Spartak Moscow in the national ground, the Luznikhi stadium. Although this is an 89,000 capacity stadium, CSKA were only allowed 19,000 of these seats - This stressed the importance of a new stadium. The ''CSKA-Peschanoye'' can seat 35,000 people with room for expansion and will only help the club in their quest for world domination.

AKINFEEV TRANSFER REQUEST REJECTED

Whitehouse today told gathering journalists that despite sitting down with Igor and chatting to him regarding the clubs ambitions the goalkeeper still said that he sees his future away from Moscow.

The manager always thought that although he would like to further his career he would never take it beyond the manager's office. So he said he was dismayed and shocked when he publicly handed in his transfer request in a press conference yesterday. Whitehouse rejected this saying ''If Igor wishes to handle these manners in such a way the so be it. If I have it my way the man will be here for years to come and I can't say that I will be accepting any transfer requests from him any time soon. The only way I can see him leaving this club is if a team comes in and at least matches our £25million valuation''

Looks like you have a fight on your hands keeping Akinfeev, GL!

Btw, check out a young keeper at Anzhi called Perfiljev (I don't think he's a regen) he is my first team keeper at age of 19 and has great stats that are improving with training. If you like I could post a screenie of him in 2013.

JUNE/JULY UPDATE

I thought this would be a tough month with the disharmony in the squad following my rejection of Akinfeev's transfer request. However the team looked better than ever playing some very good stuff, making the jaws drop of fans and managers of other teams in the leagues.

A really good win for us, we are playing some nice flowing football which is really sending some good vibes through the team now that they are unbeatable.

A win which was just as good, if not better, than the one last week because of the fact that we played this game only 3 days after our other game. Some really good football, playing the ball in triangles and we are looking like a side flooding with confidence.

One word, stunning. We took the game to them straight away and seized the initiative very quickly. Since Akinfeev has declared that his future is away from the club, the side have clubbed together and provided 3 wins and 3 clean sheets in a row.

Our result of the month, not only did we look good, we looked unplayable. Locomotiv couldn't keep up with us and from the first whistle the team and in particular Milevskyi were thenomonal.

A big month for us saw us extend our league at the top to 6 points because of Zenit's victory over saturn in the last game of the month. This cushion will give the side some leighway hopefully when the Champions League is reintroduced to us in a couple of months.

Player of the month - Artem Milevskyi

Nearing the end of August so an update to be whacked up shortly, just have one last game now against Zenit. Win this and it will take a miracle for them to catch us.

Well done. looks like another league win. Well done bigal! Hope you can add a few more pieces of silverware for CSKA in the future.

AUGUST UPDATE

This was always going to prove to be a massive month in our system, only after the month had finished I realised what an important month it actually was with the Champions League group stage draw taking place and also a potentially title deciding game against Zenit.

Russian cup - 7th round: The month started with a cup game against division one side Khimki, I rang a few changes but despite this we ran out comfortable 2-0 winners which I am more than happy with.

Rostov away, never an easy place to go. The fans there are so close to the pitch so they are very passionate, I thought that this would count against us due to the hostile environment but we rose above it and notched up another win.

View attachment 30425

Our 8th clean sheet in a row and our 13th win in a row in all competitions. We are really turning the screw on all of the teams we come up against, all in all this could prove to be a very successful season.

Amkar are a team that we really should have scored more than 2 against them. They are a poor side who will be battling relegation come the end of the season. However a win is a won and it only pleased the fans further. Now we had our big game coming up against Zenit, which would shape the whole balance of the season.

View attachment 30426

What a win, what a performance and what a feeling!!! This is easily by far my best ever moment as manager of CSKA Moscow, I would have taken a 1-0 win prior to the start of play. But 6-0 is far beyond my wildest dreams. I feel this was the day where we almost won the league, our next game is away to Rubin and if we win that I think our title rivals will start conceding defeat in the race this season.

View attachment 30429

The league table makes very happy viewing at the moment, 12 points clear with 11 games to play is absolutely sensational. There are 33 points left to play for and I feel 4 more wins will seal us the title. We are on course this season to smash all records going in the Russian Premier League.

The month was capped off by a Champions League draw which gave us a draw that we should definitely qualify from. Real Madrid will qualify which leaves one place left between myself and probably Celtic although I am confident that my side are vastly superior.

Player of the month - Franco Zuculini

Thanks mate your support means a lot ;) I am absolutely chuffed with the win - Never in my wildest dreams. Despite Real being in there, I want to win the group by beating them at home and possibly getting a draw at the Bernabeu. I am full of confidence going into it though.

Cheers man. As I said above, I was truly chuffed with it.
