After the cup loss against Metalist,Dinamo Kiev met them again,this time in the Ukrainian Super Cup.After a goalless first half,Mykola Morozyuk's pass found Artem Milevskyi who put Dinamo in the lead.Two minutes later,Milevskyi popped up again,this time from Andrew Driver's pass.The Milevskyi show was still on as he headed home to complete his hat-trick from Sotiris Ninis' cross.It was all Dinamo Kiev in the second half as they lifted the Ukrainian Super Cup

Just a week after the Super Cup win,Dinamo Kiev faced Metalist again in the league opener.Olexandr Kovpak put Metalist in front after an error from Sergiy Kryvtsov.Dinamo Kiev kept on testing Metalist thereafter but just couldn't find an equaliser in the first half.Their efforts finally paid off in the second half when Artur Kas'kov drew them level.In a dramatic turn of events,Eugene Khacheridi's header proved to be the winner for the condifent Dinamo Kiev side.

10 man Dinamo cruise to victory against Obolon

Dinamo Kiev looked the cement their place at the top of the league table early as they came to Obolon for their second league match.The first goal came in stoppage time of the first half when Left winger Andrew Driver scored from a wonderful solo effort.In the second half,Eugene Khacheridi received his second yellow for shirt pulling and was sent off.Pavlo Onys'ko scored the equaliser for Obolon from the resultant free-kick.Though down to ten men,one man drove them forward.Luca Wehrli's through ball found Artem Milevskyi who put Dinamo Kiev ahead once again and Milevskyi ensured victory with his late goal from Andrew Driver's cross.

Dinamo pick comfortable win against Dnipro

Dinamo Kiev faced Dnipro on a cold cloudy afternoon where both teams were looking to get some early points.The breakthrough came on 34 minutes when Mykola Morozyuk struck one in from long range.Goalkeeper Olexandr Shovkovskyi was tested a number of times by Dnipro but the 37 year old was proving his worth as he kept the opposition from scoring each time.New signing Sotiris Ninis scored from Andrew Driver's cross to make it a comfortable victory.

August Update

Second half comeback ensures win against Shakhtar

In a very much awaited match,league champions Dinamo Kiev travelled to Donetsk to meet the Man City of Ukraine,Shakhtar.New signing Neymar put the miners in front on 24 minutes,then scored again in stoppage time of half time.The second half,however was a totally different story.Just 1 minute played,Andrew Driver pulled one back for Dinamo.Eugene Khacheridi scored from a corner to draw them level.In the closing moments of the game,Luca Wehrli's through ball found late substitute Andriy Yarmolenko who thumped the ball into the top corner to win the game for Dinamo.

Dinamo progress in cup with win against Metalurg D

After the win against the Miners,Dinamo Kiev stayed in Donetsk for three days where they would be facind Metalurg D in the 2nd Round of the Ukrainian Cup.Artem Milevskyi opened the scoring and Oleg Gusev scored later from Mykola Morozyuk's through ball.The only event in the second half was Metalurg's Jose Conteras getting injured as Dinamo progressed to the next round.

Dinamo Kiev faced Illichivets which proved to be a very physical clash indeed.Olexandr Yatsenko opened the scoring for the away side with a header.Artur Kas'kov equalised in stoppage time of the first half.Donny Neyra picked up an injury and could not play further part in the fixture.Artem Milevskyi put Dinamo Kiev in the lead for the first time in the match on 62 minutes and he doubled the lead just 7 minutes later.Grygoriy Basanets of Illichivets also got injured during the match.

Dinamo Kiev travelled to Lviv to face Karpaty in the Ukrainian Premier League.Ognjen Vukojevic's through ball found Oleg Gusev on 14 minutes to put Dinamo Kiev in the lead.Two minutes later,Vukojevic found himself on the scoresheet as he headed home from Mykola Morozyuk's cross.Sergiy Bozrenko pulled one back for Karpaty from a free-kick.On 42 minutes,Nelson Rivas was shown his second yellow after tripping Milos Bogunovic.Artem Milevskyi made it 3-1 after he skint past a player and drove the ball into the bottom right corner.Vukojevic was involved again after his through ball was converted by Andrew Driver to finish off the scoring rout.

Dinamo Kiev were fortunate at home to atleast gain a point when they faced relegation threatened Zorya.Just after 10 minutes,Mykola Morozyuk received a straight red after fouling Valeriy Fedorchuk.Zorya capitalised and found the lead when Olexandr Kosyrin hit home on 16 minutes.Dinamo Kiev were looking awful throughout the match,misplacing most of their passes straight to the opposition.Ognjen Vukojevic's pass found Artur Kas'kov who put home the late equaliser to earn a valuable point for his side.

The Croatian was in great form,as evident by his goal and a number of assists.He was pulling the strings in midfield,as well as performing his ball winning duties.

Dinamo Kiev were drawn in group A of the competition along with Serie A runners up Inter,Dutch champions Ajax and Belgian side Germinal Beerschot.The fans have stated that they are confident of the team's good showing in the group and hope to see them in the knockouts.Dinamo had reached the first knockout phase last season where they were eliminated by Chelsea, 7-2 on aggregate.

Turkish right-back Gokhan Gonul has suffered a broken shoulder injury which would keep him out for minimum 5 weeks.Manager David Seaman has called up French U-21 international Serge Aurier to the first team squad to fill in.

Bosnia win first game under Seaman

David Seaman's first game in charge of Bosnia and Herzegovina turned out to be a good one as they took on Luxembourg in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.Jeremy Laroche put Luxembourg in the lead on 13 minutes.Sanel Jahic equalised for Bosnia from the penalty spot and was followed by Miralem Pjanic 8 minutes later,also from the penalty spot.In the second half,Zlatan Muslimovic scored from an Edin Dzeko cross.Marko Topic's ball found Vedad Ibisevic who gracefully chipped it over the Luxembourg keeper.Yannick Conter's 78 minute goal for Luxembourg was the only consolation.

Bosnia and Herzegovina were virtually out of qualification but were playing in the group for respect as they took on Belarus.Syargey Kornilenko scored from Alexandr Hleb's cross to open the scoring for Belarus.In stoppage time of the first half,Kornilenko scored again,this time from Dmitry Verkhotsev's through pass.Vedad Ibisevic pulled one back for Bosnia but they just couldn't find an equaliser.

League Leaders Dinamo Kiev faced Chornomorets Odesa in the third round of the Ukrainian Cup.It was the away side who struck first with Valeriy Kutsenko's volley on 31 minutes.In the second half,Peruvian midfielder Donny Neyra equalised from a free-kick which hit the post on its way to the back of the net.Greek winger Sotiris Ninis headed in the winner from Gerson Magrao's cross.Dmytro Vladov who was already booked received his second yellow for arguing with the assistant calling Ninis' goal offside.

In the first match of the UEFA Champions League,Inter travelled to the Valeriy Lobanovs'kyi stadium to face a very resillent Dinamo Kiev side.Mario Balotelli put Inter in the lead on 20 minutes after skinning past two players before thumping the ball into the top of the net.Balotelli got his and the team's second 8 minutes later when he placed Sulley Muntari's pin-point pass behind keeper Olexandr Shovkovskyi.Wesley Sneijder scored 3 minutes later from a close range free-kick.Dinamo Kiev tried to fight back in the second half,Andrew Driver scored on 66 minutes.Eugene Khacheridi scored from the Gerson Magrao corner but it was too late for Dinamo to do anything else.Final score 3-2.

Chornomorets looked for revenge after their cup loss as they hosted league leaders Dinamo Kiev at the Victor Propokenko stadium in Odesa.Artem Milevskyi put Dinamo in the lead on 38 minutes as he scored from Oleg Gusev's cross.Ivan Bobko equalised for Chornomorets right at the end of the first half.Both teams tried to get the best of each other but of no avail until stoppage time when Sasha Yunisoglu pushed Andriy Shevchenko.Donny Neyra scored the winner from the resultant free-kicks and ensured three points for his side.

The Kiev derby is always a spectacle to watch and so was this edition of it.Once again it was Dinamo who dominated the derby.Ognjen Vukojevic put them in the lead just 7 minutes in from a shot from 30 yards out.Anton Gai picked up an injury and had to be brought off.Dinamo constantly kept knocking on the door and it paid off when Andriy Yarmolenko scored on 74 minutes from Andrew Driver's cross.

In their second group game in the champions league,Dinamo faced confident side Ajax in Amsterdam.Artem Milevskyi scored in just the 3rd minute to put Dinamo ahead.Croatian forward Mario Mandzukic equalised for Ajax 15 minutes later.But Milevskyi popped up again to put Dinamo in the lead for the second time in the game from Sotiris Ninis' cross.

I have followed your story from the very start and seeing what u have achieved, I am considering starting a Dinamo Kiev game
 
It must have been a hard blow to take getting dumped out of the Champions League so convincinly by Chelsea

We were not expecting to win anyways. So not a hard blow there. And also the fans are happy that I fulfilled their expectation of going into the knockout phase. :)

You mean Raikan's tactic having 2 wingers? Yeah I still use it. Andrew Driver is at Hearts at the beginning of the game.
 
I know Andrew Driver is at Hearts but I searched for Hearts and they have no players in the Dynamo game

Unbeaten Dinamo Kiev travelled to Poltava to take on Vorskla.The breakthrough came on 30 minutes when Oleg Gusev put the away side in front.Filip Despotovski equalised in stoppage time of the first half.In form striker Artem Milevskyi put Dinamo in front again after he scored from close range.Scorer of Vorskla's goal Despotovski got sent off for a blatant foul on Andrew Driver.Andriy Yarmolenko doubled the lead on 74 minutes and got another late on.

Bosnia and Herzegovina fortunate to draw

Qualification chasing Albania faced 4th placed Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Qemal Stafa in Tirana.Edgar Cani put them in front on 37 minutes.Cani popped up again on 71 minutes to double the lead and increase qualification chances.Vedad Ibisevic pulled one back for Bosnia and Miralem Pjanic got a late equaliser to end the game all-square.

France come out victorious in tough match.

Bosnia and Herzegovina played their last Euro Qualifier match against France who were already comfortable at 1st place in the group.Karim Benzema scored just in the 2nd minute to put the away side in the lead.The whole game was a struggle for France as most of their attacks were cut off in midfield.They came close when Yoann Gourcuff's long range effort struck the bar.On 87 minutes,Samir Nasri got injured and was brought off.

Newcomers Lviv took on David Seaman's in-form unbeaten Dinamo Kiev side which turned out to be a highly one-sided affair.Milevskyi scored on 36 minutes to put his side in front.Mykola Morozyuk's long shot doubled the lead in the second half.Milevskyi scored in stoppage time to put a cherry on the cake in the game.

In the Champions League Group A,Dinamo Kiev travelled all the way to Antwerp in Belgium to take on Germinal Beerschot.Seconds into the game,Artem Milevskyi struck.Eugene Khacheridi headed home from a Gerson Magrao Corner 15 minutes later.In stoppage time at the end of the half,Milevskyi scored again.Milevskyi was later substituted for veteran striker Andriy Shevchenko who immediately made his mark in the 83th minute.Eugene Khacheridi was on the end of a corner again as he headed home his second.Shevchenko finished the thrashing in stoppage time as the fans witnessed a memorable match in the club's history

Metalurg Zp hosted Dinamo Kiev at the Slavutych Arena and the match was plagued by injuries.On 25 minutes,Andrew Driver suffered a horrible injury and was ruled out for 4 weeks.The first goal came in the second half when Ognjen Vukojevic hit home in the 52nd minute.Metalurg playmaker Luis Tejada also found himself on the receiving end of an injury 5 minutes after Ognjen's goal.

No doubt about this one,once again Artem Milevskyi was in lethal form continuing to hit the back of the net.He just couldn't stop scoring.

A nice month,we did come out short against Albania but I am pleased with the France result which we lost by just 1 goal.For Dinamo however,its just like a walk in the park :P
