PRE SEASON PREVIEW
Season 6 - 2016/2017

Following a 4th season in a row outside the top 2 Juventus Decided to part ways with Antonio Contie

Serie A season begins with Juventus announcing Darran Donald has completed a deal to take over the club and will be in the stands for the opening game of the season against Fiorentina

Serie A match day 1
Fiorentina 2-2 Juventus
Valencia, Marchisio

Press Conference

Sky Italia
Juventus are the most successful team in Italian competition but have won a single Coppa Italia in the last 13 years. You have never failed to deliver a league title , which will crack first?

Darran
I think we can win the league although I've missed the transfer window and the chance to bring in my own players I do believe im taking over a squad strong enough to win the league, Otherwise I wouldn't have too the job.

So a new season and a totally different challenge having missed the chance to improve the squad im stuck with Antonio Conte's squad which should still run them close

Targets
Seria A - Top 2 finish
Italian cup - Beat everyone except the Milan teams
Champions league - last 16 then play it by the draw

Main summer transfers
Maralem Pjanic moves to my old team Man City
Inter spent big on Papastathopolous £18m and 2 regens P Bustos £18m, Butti £10m
Fiorentina also spent big Konoplyanka £17m, D Boyata £12m, and amazingly Boudebouz for £10m
Wifred Zaha joined Man UTd for £14m

Managerial changes in the summer
Roberto Carlos replaces Mancini at Athletico Madrid
Rudi Garcia takes over former Champions leauge finalists Lyon
Stuart Pearce took over England after Rafa Benitez was sacked for a group stage exit at Euro 2016

Euro 2016
Italy win Euro 2016 in a penalty shootout against Russia, Turned down Turkey and Scotland jobs. Will look into internationals after the world cup 2018

Champions league draw

Third seeds but a group I think we have a great chance in. Arsenal aren't anymore the good. PSG Are rich but not spent much or well and Cluj are the whipping boys

Juventus 2016

Many of the stars from the 2012 still remain at the club. Arturo Vidal, Chiellini and Marchisio making up the spine of the side. Added some premier league influence in Kalou and Nani along with one especially good looking regen John Valencia who scored against Fiorentina

Very proud of our first half of the season with the same bunch of players who finished 3rd last term. Top the table just by 3 points but with the two Milan teams making awful starts to the seasons we have a great chance.
In Europe im hoping the small changes I've made in my tactics for European games will see us continue our upturn in form.

The star of the season was a striker i almost put to the reserves. Former Sampdoria forward Guido Marilugo with his league goals taking us to the top.

January Transfers

Hamsik, transfer listed by Man City where he had been the key in my midfield was bought for a mere £6.25m off
the transfer list

Vagner Love, Was sitting on a free transfer and he will be brilliant back up for Marilungo

Hugo Perez was on the list of contracts expiring in 6 months and thought I'd take him now and get him settled in
the team, Very good prospect for £10m

Romario was bought as cover for the veteran Lichstiener and i couldn't get a new left back in to replace Sandro

Outside of the old lady the big transfers were an AMAZING REGEN Andres Pavoni to Real MAdrid £40m, Ross Barkley following his run of player of the months with a £22.5m move to Chelsea and Robert Lewandowski to Man City for £17m

Aguero wins 4th world player of the year in a row

Season review
Brilliant season from what i expected at the start. Took a team with no additions from distance challengers to the top of the table and running away with the league. slightly dissapointed with how the season ended since we had been on the crest of a wave and on for the treble but Vagner loves goals dried up and our performances lagged awfully by the end of the season costing us a easyer semi final against Lyon and the Italian Cup against AC Milan. Going to try again next season before moving to France or Spain

Heartbroken Donald leaves the Old Lady

Following one of the most dramatic end of season battles in Serial A and then a tragic defeat against Real Madrid in the last minute of extra time he feels he cannot take the team further and has left immediately but will take a few weeks off before looking for a new job with his Wife wanting out of Italy but Inter are already attempting to offer him a huge deal to save there team!

Awesome read, as always! Sad ending at Juventus, you deserved to win.
Do you have a club in mind which you are aiming for or just waiting until some club with high reputation is free?

Wife????????????? When did you and Jacki get hitched? Why was I not the flower girl. Hmph

Thinking between two jobs if they come up.

Rebuilding Inter in Seria B is tempting
Barca have been overtaken by Real in Spain and its the only big country i've not been in yet, Considered France if nothing here appeals.

Wife????????????? When did you and Jacki get hitched? Why was I not the flower girl. Hmph

Told you i was heading down the road today, Wrong turn at Glasgow ended up at Gretna, No football teams so had to do something with the time :p

England appointed Steve Bruce, France got Rennais manager Frederic Antonetti, Spain Hired a regen and Italy got in touch with a fellow by the name of Darran Donald about becoming there new manager.

Darran signs up till the 2022 world cup in UAE but will continue to look towards getting club work at the nearest opportunity, AKA Inter and Barca never came up.
