I don't like strict rules when building a squad and looking for players, it's just not realistic. I more prefer general rules:

- those players who are mentally strong are always better on the long run
- always have 2 players for each position
- if you are short of funds, the loans from bigger clubs are always better than signing older players. Of course it doesn't mean that you don't need experienced players, since all of you are aware that 'you can't win anything with kids"

Player filtering
Again, I like to do things simple. You can use the in-game filters, those makes sense. If you are playing at lower level and filtering players based on strict conditions, you will find only a few and will be able to sign zero.

Hey zyndar..is it possible to use false9 and defensive forward combination for the striker role? Thx mate

I notice this tactic uses Wide Midfielders. If you train the player in appropriate position via individual training do you know whether there positional star rating goes up to reflect this over time?
 
ofc, because that training trains the highlighted attributes for the role. however star rating isn't most important, unless their personal tactical instructions reflect the role they have.

Im not sure really but I do train each player in the position I use him. Did that with great success on FM15 and see no reason to change that. I do take all the invidual training myself. From senior squad and down to the U-18 squad.

Cheers mate, hopefully as I hate to see the low positional star ratings. Would be great if you update this thread with your results as starting a Leeds save myself tonight.
 
So Leeds is now the official team of Deadly Circle? (H)
 
I only use the "Deadly Circle Attack" home and away but away I change from "Attack" mentality to "Control". When we play at home and take the lead, we change to "Control" mentality for the rest of the game. If we are leading by 1-0 or maybe 2-0 and with 10 minutes left, we change to "Contain" mentality. So far, so good! :)

Won 4/4 and the squad still needs time to adapt to the tactic. "Accomplished" at the moment and around 60%.

it's possible that you will concede some when using Attack on away games. Isn't that the case?

We'll see. I use "Control" mentality away and it seems to be working quite nice.
