I'm currently using this tactic in my Leicester save, and so far the result couldn't have been better!

My Leicester team currently sitting at the 2nd position behind Arsenal (fm - realistic), and the combo of mahrez - albrighton and kante - drinkwater is as deadly as it is in real life.

I love that this tactic is some kind of throwback to the good old fashioned throwback to famous 4 - 4 - 2 with two banks of midfield and two hardworking wingers galloping up and down with a big - small striker combo, which in this case works absolutely astounding.

Though there are still some issues to be addressed later, such as too many fouls/yellows. leaky defences, but overall for a team that's predicted to finish at 13th, its pretty, prettay great.

Thx zyndar, great tactic mate.

i dont know how to get screenshots but i came in 14th in the bundesliga with Augsburg, more loses than wins

Did u play vardy as a f9 or dlf? Do you mind to share your starting 11..I am still in pre season and I have been tweaking the striker role for both between TMs and DFs, F9s and DFs, DLFs and DFs, but I am not quite confident with the tweak so I might stick with the original tactic..thx

On the first 2 months and a half i played vardy as dlf, with Angel Correa (on loan form atletico) as f9 his scoring rate at that time is not that good tbh. And then i got spanked by Tottenham, so i decided to tinker with the formation by subbing Ulooa for Correa, place him in DLF position, and move Vardy to F9. The result is great, he scores for fun now. So i think Vardy works better at F9 than DLF.

As for tweaks, i don't make any tweaks per se for this tactic, only mentality change for wasting time. The reason for that is because there's no palyer in my squad that warrants me to tweak the tactic. So only plug and play for now.

Zyndar did you think about waste time tactic maybe? do yyou have a plan how to do it?

Two draws on a row at home for my Leeds team made me try one striker as Advanced forward and the other deep lying forward. Won 5-1 against Preston and 4-1 against Derby. My last two awaygames I lost 2-0 against Wolves and gained a draw 2-2 against Forest. Not that happy about those two games. But the future looks bright for Leeds United any how.

This is something very different now from the original tactic. If you share your version I will add it to the OP if you don't mind. Just add some notes.

Yes,

The Circle is deadly again, but in a different way then last year. This is my last tactic from my idea box which I am sharing with you. Last year DC was an attacking 4-4-2 with very fluid team shape, now although there is an attacking version, the starting tactic is a flexible, counter tactic.
This tactic evolved from my Team Spirit tactic, but since the formation is different I think a new thread would be useful.

ATTACKING

Tips

- You should start the matches with counter and only change to attack if you cannot get the lead. I suggest to avoid using attacking version against the big guys.

- The BWMs are not the classic dinamos, you should use typical central midfielders here. MCR will venture a bit more forward

- The WMs can be opposite or same side footed

- F9 should be your most technically gifted striker

OIs
: None.

Training

Put the counter version to 2 slots and the attacking to the 3rd one at the start of pre season and match tactics as match training. In pre season the general training should be fitness and team cohesion later.
During the season the general training should be balanced and after the tactic is fluid, change the match training to defensive positioning.

Corners

Use the best corner takers and aim to the penalty spot. If one your central midfielders are taking corners, change their position with players having good long shots attribute.

Pitch size mate?

Hi Zyndar, with leicester, how do you set the strikers? Vardy DLF and Kramaric or Okazaki F)?

This is my version of the tactic. The one that I use playing at home ground. Always attack mentality from the beginning. When we take the lead, I change to control. If the opponent equalize, we go back to attack. If we are leading after 80 mins, we use contain mentality. I always use shouts too. Usually every 15 min.

Away we are not that stable as at we are playing at home, but the results are good enough. Lately I have varied between counter and control. Some nice results. Some not.
