is incredible. I have gone from having 11 points of advantage of Juventus to go 4 points below. It happens to me in every game. As soon as the tactics are 100% fluid, come the worst results

Very often, threre are 2 main reasons of poor results after a good start: 1) poor rotation of the team 2) lack of squad depth

You keep using your key players even they are tired or you give your key players a rest but their replacement is very poor quality, in both cases your results take a serious hit

this happens to me alot, i find i get better results when learning the tactic than when its fully fluid

I would add to this that it's also very important to keep "Match Fit" all players in the team and not only your best 11 players and there are many way to do that but often people don't pay attention to that and that's why they get inconsistent results on long run distance

Is there any way to reduce the number of goals that come from by-line crosses? That said, I've unticked the cut-inside option on the wing backs, and tightly mark on the single center forwards but still it feels every cross from the by-line goes in from an unmarked striker. And three CBs standing around.

Mid-season dip in form (1 win 4 draws) fixed by changing training to Team Cohesion (High) and Teamwork for match prep. Managed to get three wins on the bounce since then.

First season with Sevilla I just missed out on the league by 2 points. Only lost 3 games but the draws let me down. Won the Spanish cup against Atletico. Have been using the striker version. Nasri had an average rating of 7.66, he was on fire. Hoping too do better in season 2, could be tricky with the Spanish giants spending big bucks on players.

About filters for 'striker tactic'
You consider:
- two center attacking midfielder or
- One left attacking midfielder and one right attacking midfielder?

I would use "left attacking midfielder" and "right attacking midfielder" filters, it looks logical to me :)

So you have to rotate in every match? How many changes?

Mate, I’d say if you do these things right then it’s possible to win everything in this game even with any default tactic :).

1) Proper squad building:

- You should have at least 3 equal quality players for every position in the tactic, in order to be protected from injuries/bans/tiredness that inevitable happens during every season.

- It would be very poor squad building having 7-8 super star players and other 14-16 players in the team are much poorer quality than these 7-8 super star players because during the season you need to use all 22 players to achieve success and it’s much better when all 22 players are similar quality.

2) Keeping “Match Sharpness” of all players in the team at high level

“Match Sharpness” of any player in the team should not be less than 85% otherwise he won’t develop or even worse his attributes will be declining.

Obviously, it isn’t possible to give every player enough playing time to keep “Match Sharpness” above 85% so you need do make some players to be available for Reserve/U21 team

Please notice, that you shouldn’t move players to Reserve/U21 team because it’ll upset them, you need just make them available for Reserve/U21, also please notice that your Reserve/U21 might not have any matches at all or at some period so you need to make sure that it’ll have some matches and to do that you should go to its fixtures and arrange some friendly matches for your Reserve/U21 team.

3) Proper squad rotation:

The logic is very simple – the higher conditions of your players compare with your opponent’s conditions the more advantage they’ll get over the opponent in the match

So it would be smart to use “B” selection in some unimportant Cup Match or Champions League Match and then use your “A” selection in a league match.

Or It would be smart to use “B” selection in a home league match vs the weakest team in the league to keep the condition of players in “A” selection for more hard matches.

I took just few example but there might be a lot different situation when your successes depends on your decision when to rest your best players and when to use them

Well, for small teams, that way to do a squad isn't allways possible, in my opinion :)

Just a randoim question here: i am loaning out my 3rd choice wonderkid and i get the regualre fees, but i can add "future fee after matches played" and i put 1 million there, i presume it means if he plays 15 matches i get another million, not that they can buy him for 1 million after 15 matches?

Hi TFF

A very information post as always! Could you also give some tips how to develop young players in the best way?

Thanks! :)

Regarding development, i have been playing Balde as CB alongside Rugani and Rudiger most of the season rotating in Mbamba and Holding to avoid tiering the CB, but BNalde has gone from 5 star potential with 3 star CA to 3 star FP aswell, not developed any og his skills much at all and i wonder if i did something wrong here.... i have same issue with Tom Davies who i splashed 40mill on first season and hesmore or less spot on same lvl as he was when he joined 4 seasons ago ><

Oh ****! good thing i waited for reply here before accepting it lmao xD

something along these lines was in the morrata at juve loan deal last year, thats how i learnt about it
