apart from Rodriguez you ironically have the same team as me
Do you train them in exactly the way it's set out on the first page?

Hello TFF,
Still doing very well with your v7 but i have a question about ind. trainings.
Should i train my strikers as Attacking Midfielder (to get them natural to this position) before switching to recomended ind. training (Trequartista) or not ? Same for other players of course! I'm not sure about that that's why i'm asking
Thanks!

You are conceding too much, if i make a calculation it seems that you conceding 0.94 goals per match. Regarding promotions - congrats!

Yeah, with not the best quality of players in defence, that is what happens, but the goals scored makes up for that with almost 90+ goals per season. (H)

Still running a fairly tweaked V1 Strikerless, and can't quite believe my eyes this season (3rd)!

Not sure if I rode my fair share of luck or not, but knocked out Leverkusen (7-3 aggr), PSG (5-3 aggr) and Arsenal (4-4 away goals) on the way.

yes mate, i train my players same as the op says

Are you using filters ???

To find players? Well yes, but not so much. I find it that some gems can go through the filters sometimes, but they are a great tool to find the best players for each position :)

THE STRIKERLESS TACTIC HAS BEEN UPDATED TO V8

THE STRIKER TACTIC HAS BEEN UPDATED TO V9

THE OVERLOAD TACTICS HAVE BEEN UPDATED

Guys, this update gives a solid so don't miss it

CHANGES :

- tweaked the passing settings of MCL/MCR positions

- tweaked the closing down settings of MCL position

Individual Training Focus:

AMC/AMCL/AMCR : Individual Training Focus = "Trequartista"

STC : Individual Training Focus = "False Nine"

MCL/MCR : Individual Training Focus = "Deep Lying Playmaker";

CDL/CD/CDR : Individual Training Focus = "Ball Playing Defender" Training Focus

WBL/WBR : Individual Training Focus = "Complete Wing Back";

GK : Individual Training Focus = "Goalkeeper"

Question: Why not train Sweeper keeper since its used in tactic? same goes for BWM or BBM for midtfielders etc?

If i need say my mexican starlet thats full stars on Deep laying playmakewr to suit better in a BBM role, dont i need to train him specificly for that to get his right stats up? If not he will never reach full "bar" for playing as BBM?

What did you tweak?

Not able to check everything right now but off the top of my head regular defensive line tweaking (slightly higher as standard), WBs dribble less and remove tackle harder, some individual player tweaks such as dribble less for a CD(R) and CM(R), removed more risky passes for 2 of my 5 AMCs (for some reason Keisuke Honda always misplaced too many passes). I also use counter mentality and shorter passing and/or retain possesion when playing more difficult opponents or when away against equal opponents. It's a bit difficult to give a PnP answer since many tweaks are tied to individual players.

One or two of those tweaks are surely in TFFs later versions but I've personally found them not to suit my team very well. I create an abundance of 1on1s with the GK playing like this even if I don't always control possession. When comparing with V7 I find that V7 maintains possession better but perhaps due to the lack of quality in my team (Britt Assombalonga and an aging Keisuke Honda were for example key players for me last season with Jack Hobbs and Ben Osborn still playing 15+ BPL matches having been in Forest since the start) I'm not quite able to break through as much.

Most important "tweak" was however to sign Alexander Isak from Dortmund for £11M who is now after the 3rd season attracting bids of over £70M after winning BPL Golden Boot 1 goal ahead of Lewandowski and Best Player in Europe. (H)
