Harry Redknapp Imprisoned!

harryredknapp415.jpg

Harry Redknapp was today imprisoned for a minimum of 3 years after being found guilty of tax evasion. The former Bournemouth and West Ham manager's legal team is said to be preparing an appeal, but Tottenham bosses have made their decision already and have decided to relieve Redknapp of his duties as head coach.
Daniel Levy said:
After hearing of the decision in the court to sentence Harry to 3 years imprisonment, we have decided to relieve Harry of his duties as manager of Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club. Despite his appeal, we have decided that it would be in the best interests of the club to move ourselves away from this situation in order to prepare ourselves properly for the forthcoming Premier League season. We will be looking to announce a new manager within the next week or so, but don't want to rush into any decisions. We wish Harry all the best in his future endeavours.

Fans were said to be backing the decision and were anxious to find out who the new appointment would be.

Spurs set to hire Rookie!

SunSport understands that Tottenham are set to hire a manager who has never taken charge of a professional football team before to succeed shamed manager Harry Redknapp. Our sources tell us that chairman Daniel Levy is set to hire young Portuguese coach Daniel Feliciano, who works in the academy as head coach to prolong the long term safety of the club.
Annonymous Source said:
Daniel wants to prolong the long term safety of the club. He wants to know that the club will be in safe hands for a long time and Daniel is the man to do that. He's successfully coached the youth team here and the academy team to several championships and tournament wins, and comes with glowing references from club legends like Teddy Sheringham and Tim Sherwood so he seems the perfect choice.

Tottenham are yet to release a statement about this.

Feliciano is new Spurs Boss!

Tottenham Hotspur today confirmed Daniel Feliciano as the man to succeed Harry Redknapp in the managers role at White Hart Lane on a two year deal. The former youth academy coach was approached about the job yesterday afternoon, and said "it was an offer I couldn't refuse".

Daniel Feliciano said:
It's a dream to be managing in the Premier League at such a young age. I've always said it was something I wanted to do, but when I was approached yesterday, it was an offer I couldn't refuse, and the rest as they say is history. I'm looking forward to getting started here, and with my first official game in charge a London Derby at The Lane, hopefully the fans will get behind me and the team and we can pull off a big win.
When asked about who his targets were, if anyone, he responded in a positive manner.
Daniel Feliciano said:
Well I'm looking to dip into the market definately. I've got a system and a way of playing in mind, and hopefully it will work out for us. I've got a few players in mind, it will just be whether or not their clubs want to part with them and whether or not we can agree a price with the other club, but I won't be naming any names as I'd hate for someone to do that to my players.

Daniel Levy said:
We hired Dan due to his knowledge of the club youth system and his previous records with the youth team. He had some glowing references from some of the kids and the senior players. We understand that there is a massive gap between the youth teams and the Premier League, but we are confident in his ability and so are the players. Most importantly, he is confident in his ability to get us into a successful league position.

Good start DMF, good luck. If it is anything like your Wolfsburg story it should be a great read :)

Max :(
I'll just keep you updated XD

Thanks guys :)

My Tactics..

I have decided to go with an unorthadox 4-4-2 with my Tottenham side. Bar Corluka being at RB, this is probably my strongest XI.

With Lennon and Kranjcar's pace on the wings, they are set as Wingers with Attack Duty's to attack the full backs.
Palacios is in the CM role, as a Ball Winning Midfielder with a Defend Duty to make sure that the back four is protected at all times in the case of a counter attack.
Modric is in the AMC role as an Advanced Playmaker with an Attack Duty. He is my main man, and will link the play and hopefully get me a few goals and assists from that position. Eidur Gudjohnsen will be the back up to this position as he is known for being good at linking up play and unlocking a defense with a single pass or shot at goal.
Yannick Djalo is a Poacher due to his pace and his goalscoring potential, with him and Defoe rotating.
Crouch is of course a Target Man, with Pavlyuchenko the rotator with him.

So those are my tactics, hopefully they will work for me :)

I will update the first game seperately as it is a North London Derby and from that point onwards it will be monthly updates :)
