*Like*
Haha, recently my stories have died because my comp has had issues but I cleared it of all viruses at the weekend so it should be fine now :)

No need to say that I'll be following. Good signing in Angelito, a classy player like every other from the Benfica squad (H)
Good start, nice layout, keep up the good work

cheers m8

This is the first time I've ever signed Di Maria on any save mate so I thought I'd try him out..

I always sign different players or it gets boring..

yeah thats cool. it was'nt a dig at you or anything, just an observation really. It seems most stories I read people by Djalo at the minute too :@

It's because he's only 800K and a quality striker.. bargain really!

Arsene Wenger said:
For once I saw the decision and it was a poor one. I won't go further into it as I don't want to be punished so early on in the season, but for me, it wasn't a penalty.

Arsene complaining again... XD

September Round Up..

Spurs 2-0 Birmingham City
View attachment 59805

A great game for us in which we kept up our unbeaten record in the league. Angel Di Maria scored on his debut with a great finish in the box to put Spurs 1-0 up before Tom Huddlestone made it 2-0 from the penalty spot and effectively seal the points all before half time.

Daniel Feliciano said:
We were very good today. We kept our shape and were strong throughout the whole 90 minutes. We took our chances and looked dangerous.
Alex McLeish said:
It was a disappointing game for us today. We were good all over the park, but they were just better than us. Any other day I think we would've got a point, but today they were just too good for us.

Spurs 4-2 Manchester United (AET)
League Cup 3rd Round
View attachment 59806

In a high tempered clash between these two sides we saw 120 minutes, 6 goals and 3 red cards. Jermaine Defoe put Spurs ahead before Michael Carrick levelled it up from the spot. Defoe then scored his second of the game before half time to send Tottenham in at half time 2-1 up. Luka Modric was sent off for a second yellow card after a clash with Fernando Gago. Wilson Palacios later saw red for a second yellow card. Then with a minute to go in the game, Kiko Macheda stabbed one home from 6 yards out to send this game into extra time. Sebastian Bassong then scored with a quality header from a Di Maria corner to send the Spurs fans into raptures before a Roman Pavlyuchenko screamer sent Spurs into the 4th round.

Daniel Feliciano said:
What a tie eh? It's well known I'm a massive United fan, but this is the best result of my career as a manager. We prevailed even with 9 men and played through extra time. The lads were superb.. I can't say anything bad about them. What a performance.
Sir Alex Ferguson said:
It was one **** of a game, and we don't usually score two goals away from home and still lose. They were superb, but if we get that penalty in the second half when it's 2-1 and 11 vs 11, then the game may have been very different!

Spurs 4-3 Liverpool
View attachment 59807

Another thrilling game from White Hart Lane. Spurs could have gone 1-0 up in the 3rd minute through Peter Crouch but it was ruled out for offside. The lanky former Liverpool striker was convinced he was still onside. They did take the lead eventually with Niko Kranjcar nodding in at the back post to put Spurs ahead. Jermaine Defoe then doubled their lead with a great strike at the near post. He then added his second of the game just before half time. But Liverpool came out in the second half all guns blazing and a stunning Fernando Torres hat-trick got all Liverpool fans standing in disbelief at their teams amazing comeback. However their celebrations were cut short when former Chelsea star Eidur Gudjohnsen stabbed in a late strike from 6 yards out to give Spurs another valuable 3 points and keep up their unbeaten record.

Daniel Feliciano said:
We showed great courage today to pick up these 3 points. We fought hard all the way through and even when we lost our 3 goal lead, we battled and got a fourth goal to give us this win. Very pleased with the performance and result, but we'll be having words about the 3 goals we conceded.
Rafa Benitez said:
We were very bad in the first half, but we came back well in the second and were unlucky to lose. But we switched off at the corner when we shouldn't have and you can't do that at this level. Tottenham punished us and they look very, very good this season.

Cheers mate..

Anything that anyone thinks I should change about the layout?

Using my idea of the quotes I see. :P

Good results, wouldn't of paid £12m for Di Maria though tbh.

nahh mate layout is perfect!

you gonna keep keane when he comes back?

Doubt it tbh, unless one of my strikers majorly under performs, but at the moment they are all playing well.

Yeah using your idea Max, didn't think you'd mind (K)
I paid £12M because I know he can become a very good player in game and is already putting in some quality performances. Also, didn't have much time to haggle with them. Originally they wanted £23M but I got it down so was happy enough in the end..

Updates will be at some point tonight guys :)

Hopefully I can do something like that too :)

Sorry guys, there won't be an update today as my Microsoft Word is being gay and I have loads of coursework, so I'm having to swap laptops with my sister.. Updates ASAP guys!! :D

Great start to the season so far.
What skin are you using may I ask?

I'm thoroughly enjoying, do tell me how Di Maria gets on as he always flops for me when I sign him. Cheers man. Good luck!
