Transfers
Wolfsburg signed 3 players this January window and got rid of 1 in a bid to cut down on their wage bill, but keep their squad at a healthy strength. Yougster
Ignacio Camacho joined for a cut price £3.3M from Athletico Madrid after he was deemed surplus to requirements. In order for their to be space for him, Daniel Feliciano made the decision to let
Guillermo join Hertha BSC for £3.7M after he was struggling to settle in to life in Wolfsburg. He was reportedly unhappy with the limited chances to break in to the first team with Jack Wilshere and Yoann Gourcuff the main men in that Trequartista role. Daniel Feliciano also brought in to yongsters.
Eric Mbiakop, 19, joined for £2.2M from Koln and he will now be the back up to the left back role, as Daniel Feliciano has stated that Jose Enrique will be joining Athletico Madrid at the end of the season, and he won't be playing him again unless absolotley necessary. He also signed highly rated 15 year old goalkeeper
Ramazan Arat from Stuttgart on a youth contract, with compensation up to £1.2M going to Stuttgart in the future.

Not a good month for us at all. Started out well, as we drew with Bremen and then beat Bayern which saw us 14 points clear at the top of the table. But then a crushing defeat away to Stuttgart saw our lead cut back to 11 points, and then a disappointing 2-2 draw in the local derby saw it cut to 9 points, which although is still a big lead, is nowhere near as good as it should be. We went 2-0 down in every game except against Bayern, but against Werder Bremen and Bochum we probably should have won after getting back level especially with Dzeko missing a sitter against Bochum and us hitting the bar. However, against Stuttgart we were thumped, and although me managed to drag it back from 2-0 to 2-2, we were powerless to resist them as Roberto Soldado smashed home a hat-trick to sink us and our unbeaten record. Next month HAS to be better!
