Wow. What can I say. I'm absoloutley speechless. I would never have thought 7 years ago when I first took this job, that I would have been so successful. 6 straight Champions League trophies is unheard of, and now we've made it heard! I'm so proud. Oh, and by the way I'd like to quash rumours that I am leaving Wolfsburg. The fans have been incredibly supportive over the last 7 years and although I've given them every trophy possible, I won't be leaving right now. Not until I make Wolfsburg the most successful club of all time, because you know, they have to match their manager! ;)

This is the statement that has blown everything up in the world of Sport. Daniel Feliciano, officially the Most Successful Manager of All Time, has sensationally revealed that he will NOT be leaving Wolfsburg now, moments after winning the UEFA Champions League for the 6th time in 6 years! He stated that, although the surprise may not be taken so well by some fans, he hopes that they stand by him through what will be a transition period and has vowed that he will not leave the club in a bad place. This surprise better be good ;).

Looking back at this tournament, I'm fairly happy at what we achieved here. We had a poor group stage, and were fortunate to say the least to qualify, winning only 1 of our 3 group games. But in the knockout stages we were clinical and we thoroughly deserved to beat Spain. They couldn't cope with our creativity and we punished them with some excellent finishing. However, against Italy it was a completely different story. We were outplayed for the whole first half and it showed when we went 2-0 down to two sloppy goals. However, at half time I told them to go all out for it and they certainly did. We clawed it back to 2-2, before slipping 3-2 behind again, before smashing in a late equaliser. However Towards the end of the first period of extra time, Balotelli popped up to tap one in, and sink our hopes of appearing in the final where we would have faced either Croatia or France and would certainly have fancied our chances.

Daniel Feliciano refused to be interviewed after the game, and said only " I'm moving back into Wolfsburg mode now.. prepare for the big surprise, it's going to mess with a few heads!".

What will the surprise be, find out first on Sky Sports News, when we will bring you the press conference live on 29th June 2016!​
