5 wins out of 5 and some huge wins against Shakhtar and Man City, Petrescu has been running his mouth a lot this season yet they have already lost twice to us in the opening few weeks.

A good start to the month as we destroy Twente at home in the champions league and retain our 100% league status for another 2 games but we start to show our weakness with 2 decimations in the space of 4 days.

Fedetskyi managed a goal this month but he has been having some brilliant defensive displays all season and he wouldnt have originally been in the side if Opansaneko had not got injured.​

Thanks mate not too sure on what the capitals stand for but to answer your question the media quite often refer to me as Tinkering Tonkin as i never play the same tactic twice in a row, i change players all the time but sometimes play 3 in the middle, 2 up front, 5 at the back literally every tactic depending on the opponent

I didnt really care about a change in budget as i dont plan on signing anyone, my main concern was sorting out expiring contracts, Rotan the local legend signed a new deal for half his previous contract and the likes of Strinic and Zanev may be allowed to leave if i can find a better LB as they want too much money, Mazuch was the main concern as he wasnt keen on a new deal and had the likes of Inter, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla sniffing around him.

He signed a new contract for big money but i couldnt afford to lose him for nothing as he is still quite young and the likes of Chebbas are getting into there 30's so i need him to stay.

Good story so far..Doing very well.. Before reading this I would never have guessed Dnipro were trophy virgins lol. Had always thought they were the 3rd most successful team after Shakhtar & Dynamo Kiev.

Me either. They are pretty much a feeder club for the top two, i have played lots of previous FM's as Shakhtar or Dynamo so thought i would try something different but the likes of Selezynov, Fedetskyi, Mandzyuk and Gladkyi all used to play for them, Selezynov started at Shakhtar came to us did well went back to Shakhtar and did poorly and then came back to us again,

I am glad i held on to Zozulya as at the end of last season his contract was up and he was only a 2 and a half star player but he has done wonders this season despite more illustrious team mates and is valued at around £6million and with all the foreigner restrictions he was definetly worth hanging on to.

A shocking result at home we had previously not won in the league only once in 17 games but to draw against such a rubbish team was embarrassing, Selezynov is still struggling for fitness and Ademilson is hot and cold.

That man Rotan saves the day as we are almost embarrassed at home despite beating them only 4 days before away, He scored a wonderful free kick from 35 yards out while i was preparing to give the players a serious sorting out.

Our team goes through the motions as we retain the league in one of the most one horse races in the history of Ukranian football, i didnt even look at the table very often as i was seeing Shakhtar and Dynamo getting beat left, right and centre.

Most importantly is our club captain Ruslan Rotan the local Dnipro lad lifted the league title on the same day as he became the all time appearance record holder with 277 appearances

A shocking result as we get knocked out of another cup in the space of 7 days, Zanev getting sent of for violent conduct after 3 minutes left me fuming so much so that i immediately terminated his contract, its not as bad as you think as his contract was up in june but i didnt want him anywhere near me for the remainder of the season!

The expectations for the new season were clear and nothing less than i expected with retaining the league an obvious rule from now on. I didnt think i would be doing a lot of buisness in the transfer window the only person i was looking to bring in a LB as Zanev and Strinic did not have there contracts renewed, i prefer to have a healthy wage budget as well so i can renew contracts easier and sign bosmans.

At the end of last month i let you know that one of my coaches was favourite for our biggest rivals job at Dynamo Kyiv but i managed to talk him round and he rejected them!

A huge win as we have to rest some players as it was just 3 days after the cup victory but Konoplyanka smashes 2 in while playing upfront for the day and our new German LB Djordevic scored a wonder goal from 40 odd yards out.

When there is a young Ukrainian available you have to go for it so when Koval came up for sale i went for it, he is so much better than Bandura and 8 years younger so that is one space in my team sorted for 10 years at least, the young LB should prove to easily replace Zanev and Strinic.

I didnt realise how much of a selling club we are as this was the first season it happened but Wellington Nem was not getting as much game time and was sold for a reasonable amout but Honda was sold from underneath me too and i was fuming as he was easily as good as Nem.

Dynamo must be in serious debt as they sell there two best players for big money and bring nobody in, the best was on deadline day they tried to buy Bandura who is transfer listed but i denied them so they are now stuck with an 18 year old 1 star GK til January!!
