Arsenal have halted in there challenge to retain the Barclays Premier League, with Chelsea, and more recently Manchester City really providing too strong. Arsenal have been fightign on pretty much all fronts, by recording a third trophy in one and a half years, with a comfortable 2-0 win over Blackburn, at Wembley.

In a cup which used to be regarded as a stage for youngsters by Arsene Wenger, Frankie disregarded this, and attacked from the off. They took the lead when Theo Walcott broke the offside trap to slot past Paul Robinson, long before Oscar Cardozo headed in from a Samir Nasri cross. Arsenal fans were jubilant, and the 'rookie' boss was really starting to prove himself.

The league has proved a stumbling block. A draw to Hull and a loss to Chelsea, has left the reds playing a catch up game. even 3-0 wins against Hull and Portsmouth respectively couldn't help the gunners fall 8 points behind the leaders.

As you can see, Arsenal lost in the FA cup, the domestic double dream is over, but the European dream continues, thanks to Manuel Almunia, who had to replace the suspended Akinfeev, and did so, by putting in a MoM performance to keep out Ronaldo & Co. With one trophy in the bag, the UCL is now the priority.

Who needs the league anyway? XD

Least you can get the Champions League :)

Unlucky in the league Frankster.. but well done in UCL.

Stopping Real scoring is a big task so well done on that..

great story mate - pity to see Fabregas faltering a little but you've got others filling in - i've got an Arsenal save too, though not a story (thought it would be cliché to be Arsenal but you're proving otherwise!) Got Marouane Chamakh on a free because of the db and he's been immense!
