Josh Wignall has left Liverpool to join the battle for the Serié A with AC Milan after Williams left.
Malte Meier has swapped Schalke for Sevilla.

Well Juve only beat Palermo to the title on goal difference last season so you never know....

You've got a fight on your hands now in Serié A with Palermo and AC Milan and on top of that City are dominating Europe. Makes for interesting viewing ;)

yea £61M is FAR too much for a 30 year old! He does look class though. maybe it was a panic buy?

He was bought the summer after your trophiless season I think ;) so panic buy is probably right :)
 
Oh well, had a fairly good run with Milan, won a few cups so that's all good. Let's see what I can do at Palermo! Relegation probably.....

Joe Williams has decided to leave Palermo and Italy to manage Everton and take on Majumdar's Man City in the Premier League.

Seems Cheggers was too much for Joe :p
 
But I think the improvement started from Palermo, just before City, because they were a mid-table club, and he took 'em to 2nd..then moved to City

Yeah you built Palermo up. After you left the went on to win Serié A....once before Cheggers regained control :p
 
Done by Juve again! 3 points behind them, ah well off to Everton to try and wrestle the title from Arsenal :)

Cup Wins
Cheggers had the chance to win all 6 for the 2nd time in his career. He won the Serié A...again and the Italian Super Cup along with the Club World Championship. But he lost the Uefa Super Cup to B.Dortmund and then was defeated twice by Palermo, first in the Coppa Italia and then an extra-time 3-2 loss in the Uefa Champions League.

World Cup
Donnelly has got his Ireland side to the World Cup. After finishing 2nd in their group they went on to beat Estonia in a Two-Legged Play-Off 3-2 on aggregate. But for Stinson's Denamrk it was disappointment. After losing their last 2 group games they dropped to 3rd in the group. Now they have a free summer to prepare for Euro Qualification staring next season.

Ellard's U21 team are still in with a shout. They can't top the group but they could go through via the second place table. Their final game is against group winners and currently unbeaten Portugal.
