Interview Done By Jordan Kennedy Working For His Local Newspaper The Sun

Interview With Tony Procter

England recently won the 2010 Fifa World Cup how do you feel about this achievement?

Obviously I'm over the moon with it. I did highly expect us to make serious inroads into the competiton, but to win, and the style we won it in with a 5-1 victory over France is incredibly pleasing.

Does this recent victory put more pressure on the England Team and staff?

In a way it does I guess, as they are expected to perform in every game they play now. I'm convinced they can handle the pressure though and excell a long way.

How do you feel this England squad will fair at the next Fifa World Cup given a few names such as Lampard,Beckham And Gerrard are getting on a bit?

It will obviously be difficult for us as those three players have carried the team since about 2004, but with some younger generation players coming through, I'm confident we can do well.

What do you rate your chances of winning the Next European Championships?

We'll definatley go in as strong favourites and we should also have a number 1 world ranking. There'll be no easy matches in this, and there was in the World Cup, so we have to be on our game consistantly throughout

Who do you rate as England's best young player at the moment?

James Milner

Thank You For Your Time Mr Procter

World Cup "Rooney and Gerrard The Best"

By Patrick Hughes

In an intervew given the thefa.com, England manager Ed Ames claimed that Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard were the best players on the England team.

What was the key moment that your team clicked, either before the world cup, or during it?

The first game against Bosnia and Herz. was when the team really clicked. The introduction of the 4-1-1-3-2 formation seemed to spark the team into life.

Apart from the win, what was the best moment?

I suppose it was the win, but beating the Frogs 5-1. There's nothing better than beating the French.

How much were you considering resigning?

I was convinced I couldn't do anymore for the team. I was about to go to the media when I realised I really can progress England as a nation.

Do you have a target to accomplish before you resign?

Set up an invincible squad for the next manager.

Who were the best players of the world cup, English and not, in your opinion?

Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard. I don't care if anyone labels me biased, but they were truely phenomenal. Sergio Aguero was probably the best non-English player and Phillipe Mexes was very good.

Who was the worst England player in South Africa?

There was no bad players. Everyone did their job, and they did it well. We only used 15 players, if I remember correctly, and all 15 players did very well.

What do you think of some of the criticism given to you for having Almunia in your 30, as he is "not english"?

If he is eligible for England, and he's good enough to play, he'll play. That's all I've got to say on the matter.

I'd like to thank Ed Ames for giving me this interview.

It's up to the Vice Chairman to involve himself says Procter.

Tony Procter has surprised many when he said that the new vice chairman should involve himself, and apparently Ex-Vice Chairman Carter was given little or no instruction, and that's how it will be in the future.

1. Are there any stand out applications for the VC role?

Yes. I have made my decison and I will be announcing it very soon.

2. Your last VC didn't seem to be very involved, will you make sure to involve them more this time?

It's up to them to involve themselves, they have the opportunity to arrange interviews, and press conferences.

3. What were your main problems with him, as on the outside he did nothing wrong?

He didn't involve himself enough.

Thank you Tony Procter for the Interview.

Brilliant stuff that mate, thanks very much.

Creighton Appointed As Vice-Chairman

Tony Procter has today announced the appointment of Josh Creighton as the vice-chairman with immediate effect. He believes Josh is the correct man for the role and will involve himself in interviews whenever he gets the chance to do so. He has also warned Creighton that it's up to him to involve himself in the England setout and believes he will do that.

Feel free to interview me or Josh, Journalists!

I am Josh, just to let you know.

I have to go out now, but will post after, and try to help Ed and Tony with England.

Hi Ed, thanks for taking the time to talk to me today.

No worries.

Bugu111 said:
How do you feel about all the comings and goings behind the scenes at England?

It hasn't really affected me. The only change I've noticed is the addition of my Assistant Manager, and he's been brilliant, so I can't say I know too much about it, in all honesty.

Bugu111 said:
Do you feel the disruption at the FA will affect the performances on the pitch?

Considering we just won the World Cup, I don't think it has, and I don't see why it would from now on.

Bugu111 said:
What were your opinions on the sacking of Daniel Carter a while back?

I didn't really know Mr. Carter or the job he was supposed to do. I assume he did it unsatisfactorily, otherwise he wouldn't have been sacked.

Bugu111 said:
Do you feel you have the full support of the FA, or do you feel Tony Procter is doing things behind your back?

At the beginning of my reign, I always felt a bit nervy, but I've worked with Tony for a year now and I feel I've got his trust and confidence now.

Bugu111 said:
What is your current relationship with the board members?

Well, obviously I've worked with Mr. Procter for a while so I know him better than the Vice-Chairman, who I haven't actually met yet.

Bugu111 said:
Thank you for talking to us today, Mr Ames.

No problems. If you need anything else, you know how to contact me.

NB: My questions may be a bit tricky, and may seem to insult people, but I'm just replicating the slimy way journalists get their information in the modern day ;)

Assistant was major part of World Cup Bid

By Patrick Hughes

England Assistant Anthony van der Eiek manager has revealed his huge part in the world cup, discussing players and tactics a lot

What was your part in the team for the world cup?

Me and Ed spent an hour or so discussing players, formations and the like. He picked the bulk of the team, consulting me on areas he wasn't 100% about, in particular I suggested we take Joe Hart instead of Manuel Almunia as a 3rd choice, considering Almunia is ageing and not exactly English. I felt Hart could use the experience

Who, in your opinion, was the best player?

Everyone was fantastic, the stand-out player had to be Wayne(Rooney) he just couldn't stop scoring, however I want to point out our fantastic defence which provided a foundation for players like Wayne to shine.

What is your opinion of Ed Ames and Tony Procter?

I worked very closely with Ed before the WC began and he is a fantastic guy, my contact with Mr Procter is limited as he does most of the announcing via the media or through Ed, but from what I gather he is a fantastic chairman and I hope I can continue to please him.

I would like to thank Anthony for agreeing to the interview. I will be back with more soon, as I have an interview with the new Vice Chairman.

England U19's Vs Croatia U19's

Today's Friendly against Croatia U19's will be Jack Gale's first game in charge of the England U19's. The game will be held at St. Mary's Stadium, Southampton.

"The players are well up for this game, they will have a chance to prove themselves and to possibly attract the attention of England Manager; Ed Ames." Jack Gale, speaking to Journalists before the match.

This is the 25-man squad that has been announced.

This is the Starting Line-up for England, I have gone for the best team judged on ability and club form as this is my first game.

The Final Result

England secure a comfortable 2-0 win against Croatia. Star performances coming from Central Defender; Sean Morrison, Attacking Midfielder; Jack Wilshere and Striker; Frank Nouble.

Gale is said to be very happy with todays performance with the only minor gripes being the fact that we should have scored more and we conceded far too many offsides.

"The players played very well today and totally outclassed Croatia today, this game will stand them in good stead for the upcoming U19's Euro Championships. Reccomendations will be made to Manager Ed Ames." Jack Gale, speaking to Journalists post-match.

You should look at Harry Kane of Tottenham for the U19, he is pretty young but getting him into an international shirt as soon as will be good for him.
