4-4-2 Interview With England Chairman

4-4-2 - We welcome the England chairman Tony Procter to our studio for an interview on the future of the England staff, and how he feels after winning the World Cup.

4-4-2 - Congratulations on your recent success Tony, but there have been rumours that you are look elsewhere for an English assistant manager, is there any truth in this?

Procter - I have been looking for an English assisstant manager recently, yes, but the reality of the matter now is the Anthony will be staying until I see fit. I had a meeting with Ed not long ago and he says he wishes Anthony stays, should Ed have said the opposite, there's no doubt about it that I would have terminated Anthonys' contract by now.

4-4-2 - A recent newspaper has reported that you have offered the vice-chairman job to a rookie by the name of 'James Lorenzo' as you are not happy with Carter and the way he is handling the press, is this true?

Procter - It's true that I am not happy with Daniel Carter and I have approached Mr. Lorenzo over this, I am not willing, however, to talk about this in much more details.

4-4-2 - After your teams recent success in the World Cup, what are you setting as Ames' next target?

Procter - As far as I'm concerned, we have only done half a job. I will not consider this 'job done' until Ames' has lead this England team to Euro 2012 glory. Thank you.

Carter Confused and Angry at Proctor desicion

Daniel Carter has today expressed his confusion over the recent comments by Mr Proctor claiming he was unhappy with his overall performance. Carter claimed the following - "Personally, If Mr Proctor had a problem with me, surley the proffessionalism of his role would not to run straight to the media but to call a meeting, talk things through and try to come to some solution.

Carter has made it known that he was very upset with the way his boss had treated things and has slammed his proffessionalism of making his feelings known to the media. Carter went on to add that Proctor should possibly look at himself and the way he treats his interviews during the press, and start forging a relationship with his backroom staff rather than making such a big thing public. It doesn't look good to England and our fans that the chairman and vice chairman can't get along, and when they don't the guy with all the "power" takes things to the media.

Carter has refused to comment on his future but has made it clear that he is very upset at Proctor's attitude and professionalism.

Ames confirms EURO Glory is the goal

"With the youth academy being stronger than ever with two new additions to the backroom staff, I have so much confidence in the kids."

"Everyone will be working really hard to keep the good form going, and everything we do from now on will be working towards bring home the European Championship Cup."

"The difficulty is going to be getting a good mix of kids and older, experienced guys that won a World Cup. I think we've found our formation, and I've got a good idea of a few youngsters that can fit into it."

"I'd also like to back the potential addition of James Lorenzo. I personally don't believe Daniel Carson has done too much to deserve the sack, but if he is, then Lorenzo is the right man for the job."

"Thanks, and good afternoon."

Carter not giving up claiming: "Proctor Is In The Wrong"

On his departure from England's Offices, Carter caught up with Sky Sports. Carter had claimed that Proctor was in the wrong for making the problems public and claiming he made it public to the "wrong people". Carter added that the media are the main culprits of causing problems between teams and backroom staff, and sharing the problems with them has made things stressful for everyone involved with England.

Carter went on to add that he's put everything into the job, but warns the next applicant that Proctor is hard to work too and doesn't give you any "support".

It was made clear that Carter was angry with Proctor for making his feud public rather than talking about it first and claims he shows no leadership qualities such as threatening to sack current managers, and once again making it public. surly this is no confidence boost for the staff?

Carter leaves with immediate effect, warning all to beware the job isn't as good as it seems.

Procter: Carter Let Me Down

Tony Procter last night issued an amazing statement that has shocked the world of football, claiming that Daniel Carter had 'let him down', he said, should Carter have acted like a 20 year old, and not a 5 year old, he may be still in the job now.

Tony has also said that Carter will have nothing to do with England in the future and he is glad to see the back of him. He also said Carter promised so much in the application form, but didn't live up to it all and Procter can't wait to get a decent vice-chairman.

Brilliant Story, but should you really be announcing you want to sack managers, then saying your not going to sack him to the media? they turn your comments into something which isn't true. good luck.
