The atmosphere here in Rio is astonishing. The fans are so passionate about football; if only we were the same back home.
As I sat in bed that morning, I considered the squad, and considered changes. This is a completely different squad than usual, maybe change tactics, formation. After all, we have nothing to lose.
So I decided to go with a 3-4-3 against Brazil to hopefully expose Rob Green as I wanted to see how he could do under pressure. I set what I thought to be a poor defense in Rodwell, Brown and Dawson. That won't keep Brazil out, surely?
Stevie G also drops to the bench due to just coming back from injury. I don't fancy exposing him in such a high tempo game straight away.
Crouchy and Theo join Wazza up top. I wonder how he'll do with some partners.
Wow, I didn't expect that.
Of course, I'm ecstatic at beating the best in the world, but I have a huge dilemma on my hands now. Do I make 3-4-3 my new formation, with these lads, or go back to the formation and tactics I know and love, along with the team I consider the best?

Procters: Ames Is Starting To Step Up
FA Chairman Tony Procter has praised manager Ed Ames by saying he is starting to 'step up' to the plate as England boss. These comments came during an interview with the 4-4-2 magazine. Procter has also expressed his desire for more applicants for the vice-chairman position.

I'm here at the FIFA Headquarters in Switserland where the draw for the World Cup Group Stage is taking place. It doesn't matter to me who we get, I am sure we can get through regardless.

Three good sides there, but we're alot better than all of them. I reckon we should top the group.
