Carter Appointed As Vice-Chairman
Tony Procter and Ed Ames have made a joint decison to appoint Daniel Carter as the vice-chairman. He will be opening up with a press conference when he gets this message, and he will play a part in making the decisons with regards to sacking and appointing managers.
England have today welcomed New Vice Chairman, Daniel Carter to the international side. We welcome Carter today and will now answer your questions.
Welcome Carter to England, are you happy to be appointed?
"It's great to be appointed as such a big name and having such a big role to play. I feel I can help Mr Procter as well as England. I feel my appointment will help the club for the future."
How will you help Proctor and England in your new role?
I feel my appointment will help England because it will add stability to the management side. I feel to have a vice chairman will help Proctor, leaving him free to work closely with the manager.
And finally, do you stand by Proctor's appointment of the England manager?
I fully stand by the appointment. I think he has done a brilliant job so far, and hopefully this will continue.
Day of the Mexico game and I've got no worries about today, I'll be rotating it a fair amount at half-time and I reckon we should get a narrow win.
What a brilliant match that one was. The team was fairly experienced, but the defense obviously wasn't up to standard, conceeding 3 against Mexico isn't good enough.
There's definately going to be a few changes and with the World Cup Squad needing to be announced soon, I have some ideas in mind.
