England remain sixth in FIFA world rankings

We are awful at the moment. Don't deserve top 10 let alone sixth! How do they come up with this bullshit?
 
In all fairness to England, the countries below us are terrible, we may not think of ourselves as a top 10 team but considering the likes of Croatia, Greece, Egypt and Norway are on our tail then maybe we are?

Firstly, the FIFA rankings were not purely based on the World Cup. As for Portugal having an tougher group, they lost to Brazil, therefor gaining 0 points, then beat North Korea and Ivory Coast, both of these teams were very low in the rankings which means the points Portugal would have received would have been a lot less. Also before the World Cup Portugal were still 8th, below England so the fact that they finished below England is hardly a surprise.

We drew with Brazil and Ivory Coast and beat North Korea. Also, we were third before the World Cup and England were 8th. After the World Cup, we went down to 8th and England moved up to 6th. Explain that one..

FIFA's corrupt, that's why ;) We spent all our money bribing Blatter and co to move us up in the rankings, we completely forgot about world cup bid bribe money.
