Guys, I've added Overload version to OP. The only different from Base version is "Much Higher Defense Line". I also added some recommendations when to use it.

Bro, :) of course I use it when think it's appropriate to use it. Why would I posted it if I not use it? ;)

Of course I don't use it every match but sometimes situations happen when it can be very helpful.

*** EPIC ***



IMPORTANT 1: Tactic has preset OI(Opposition Instructions) built into it so make sure you don't ask your Assistant Manager to set OI for you.


IMPORTANT 2: Tactic has preset manual marking(you don't need do anything it's already in tactic): your AMCL and AMCR manual mark opposition Full Backs and this is very important! Please notice that there's bug/glitch when opposition substitutes Full Backs then manual marking stops working and in order to fix you need go to tactic menu and push "Confirm Changes" button, it should be active... so you always should keep your eyes on substitute of opposition.

Also I tested this tactic in FMC mode with "Instant Results" and manual marking worked just fine even after substitute of Full Back so if you want you can use this tactic in FMC with "Instant Result". Only one sad thing FMC doesn't have OI.



IMPORTANT 3: DL should be left footed and DR should be right footed.


IMPORTANT 4: AMCL should be RIGHT footed and AMCR should be LEFT footed. Also it's very helpful if they have "Cuts Inside" PPM.


IMPORTANT 5: When you meet "3DCs" formation then go to tactic menu and remove manual marking from your AMCL/AMCR. It’s VERY important because if you don't do that then your defense will be play extremely poor so you always should keep your eyes on oposition formation.

Alos don't forget that AI can change tactic during the match so you always should track what formation opposition uses during the match.

The only different from Base version is "Much Higher Defense Line". It adds extra pressure on opposition and you get back possession much faster but the same time your mistakes in defense could be very costly so use it wisely. I recommend use after 1st half if you are unhappy with result and think that you could take more risk but if you have any doubts I recommend keep using Base version. Also this version can be used when you start losing more than 1 goal because in this case you nothing to lose.








*** WASTE TIME VERSION ***

DOWNLOAD THE TACTIC TFF_EPIC(Waste_Time)_V2.tac

Use this version when you need protect you lead and waste time but use it wisely because this isn't "magic" tactic which gives you guaranty that you don't concede... it simple reduces chances that you concede and if you start use it too early or when have shaky lead by 1 goal then it can backfire you.
















** FILTERS AND ATRIBUTES RECOMMENDATION **

Few tips how to use filters(Under spoiler).
At first make sure you have good scouting knowledge for major football nations.

I would recommend you have full scouting knowledge for these nations: Spain, Portugal, England, Italy, Germany, France, Holland, Brazil.

In case you find it hard to find players through filters here's what you can do there's an option "easy match conditions" in filters menu and you can "easy" match conditions by 1 condition in most cases it will double pool of player you can chose from but always pay attention what parameter is missing and for how much. I would recommend have it no more than 1-2 points away.

This way you can also find young talents for your team.



Every attribute has range: minimal level(RED) and optimal level(GREEN). Players with "minimal" levels can be available for mid clubs such as Southampton, Granada, Hannover, Parma, FC Lorient and players with "optimal" levels can be available for top clubs such as Man Utd, Real Madrid, PSG, Juventus, FC Bayern so if you build top club then eventually you want that all your players have "optimal" levels for attributes.




AMCL/AMC/AMCR

AMCL should be RIGHT footed and AMCR should be LEFT footed.

GOOD PPMs: "Cuts Inside"(very important for AMCL/AMCR), "Plays One-Twos", "Tries Killer Balls Often", "Moves Into Channels"

The problem with this game, that annoys a lot of people (me included), is that you can be the best team in history and still lose to really bad teams because there is 2 much power in manager tactics and not enough in the ability of players themselves.

If the opposition plays the right tactics against you, no matter how good your team is, there is not much you can do. People play this game because they want it to be a simulation of something realistic and yet there's plenty of times when its clearly NOT the case.

This is why i tend to tinker a lot with tactics mid game. I find a tactic that creates me a lot of chances, if the AI team suddenly starts getting chances, then i know something aint working. I'll change mentality, tempo or defensive line depending on the tactic i use and who i am playing against.

I still get sucker punched now and again but majority of the times, once i have the feel of a tactic and the players in my team, i can still out score the AI. The AI always changes its tactics to try and counter me so why shouldnt i do the same back??

AllanT, here's different point of view :P

For example, after 35 min of the first half your team hasn't created a single chance and opposition has created 1-2 chances. You are unhappy and start tweaking but you don't know if you keep using this tactic without tweaks then rest of the match your team would create 10 CCC and opposition zero chances but you tweaked it and made it worse and your team didn’t create a single chances after your tweaks.

In other words, you never know when your team will have chances it could at any point of the match.

Good example is my game against Swansea. I was down by 3 goals after 1st half(conceded 2 goals from stupid corner) and my team hadn't created a single chance in 1st half but I didn't panicked and only switches for Overload version because I knew how strong is this tactic and what it capable of and I was right in 2nd half I created 7 CCC and won 3-4 but what would happened if I started tweaked it?

P.S. I don't say you should never tweak this tactic and it can't be improved...I only say that you should understand what you are doing and have long road testing statistic to back up your tweaks.

P.P.S. Countless number of time I thought that some tweaks are good but when I test it for 100+ matches it came that it wasn’t good at all.

Mate, I don't see it can have any sufficient impact. Just more teams will "park buss" against you and you more often will use "Overload" version in 2nd half... that's all.
