I see Ramos has been practising penalties since the last time.

Well done Spain, all this talk of boring games but this was right up there. Did think Portugal played very well though. I wonder if Gullium Balague will make some **** up now about Torres wanting to leave because he didn't play.......Oh no, that's just when he plays for Chelsea lol.

WoW, amazing how Ramos showed composure in that penalty, more so considering he is a CB and seeing what he failed in the CL
I knew that after seeing what pirlo did somebody would try to do it too

So much hate for Ronaldo saying he Bottled it!

Such bullshit! He is confident enough in himself to take the fifth and go for glory... Drogba did it and unpaid off, different when it don't work out

We played well, reached the objective, the players gave it their all, we lost against the world and european champion on the russian roulette, I am not really that upset, it could have gone either way, and either team could have won and it would still be unfair for the other team, I'll give a word of my appreciation to all the effort by the portuguese team, and now may my 2nd country, Italy, win this :)

What? Now you screwed it.
Where could we have a man sent off? Arbeloa had 7 fouls and got yellowed once for a handball, Alves made a few fouls 4 i think, got yellowed, Veloso, did 2 or 3, yellowed, Joao Pereira 2 or 3, yellowed.
There was no favouring, it was overral pretty fair, only biased people would say that he favoured us.
Indeed, for all the conspiracy stuff from the Portuguese, the ref has been in their favour overall.

I said overall, he let a plenty of challenges from the portguese fly, without even pulling the game back.

Arbeloa was lucky to stay on, as was veloso (4 fouls) moutinho (5 fouls, no booking) and Alves (5 fouls)

I won't discuss this, it's pointless, about the game I already said what I had to say, either team winning, it would be unfair.
If I had to put this in 100 scale , Spain would have 51 and Portugal 49. It was anyone's game.

Completely opposite, after all the conspiracy theories, its well worth discussing how it was all complete nonsense.

Half of Portugal's team were riding their luck with the ref. Indeed there was no obvious red card, but there were plenty of plays that wouldnt fly with another ref.

Credit where it is due, cristiano just gave a very decent interview on spanish TV, It's very sad that people boo him wherever he goes, as a Real Madrid fan I've seen him getting better, humbler and improving his gameplay however all he gets is flak and more flak.

Beat me to it. Nail hit on head there.

Mud sticks unfortunately. Shame as his attitude has changed, has come on leaps and bouncds and he's a world class player-but people don't forget.

I'm glad we made all the pressure, it could have been different if we hadn't ;).

I said what I wanted about the game but people still keep bringing up petty arguments o_O We lost, unfair for us to lose but unfair for spain to lose too, it was tight. I do not remember any doing doing what we did to Spain today in a LONG time ;) .
And I'm not talking about friendlies, but about real competition. Out of all the teams in the euro we were the only that didn't conceed a goal.
